People not standing in Juno's Ultimate

Is it just me or…does the entire team just ignore Juno ultimate when it’s put down?

Its a high risk to stand in it… you are one nade away of being shredded.

I think people’s natural instincts are to not walk into the giant cosmic beam coming from the sky.

A lot of tanks get scared because it forces them to move forward, and if the tank doesn’t push in that general direction, most DPS won’t either.

Meh, it’s still better than Captive Sun.

I’ve had someone going backwards while it moved forward. Another team thought it had unlimited range and sprawled out. Then a tank who literally went ahead of it.
I get the feeling whenever a new hero gets released, people should be forced to read at least the character details so they at least take a glance at what they can do.

Yeah this and I’m still not exactly sure what it does, did have a read but forgot and don’t see it enough to care.

Her Ult sucks. I’ve been melted standing in it. They need to redesign her ult. Rally, Beat, Trans, Orbit and Tree are all similar. With Trans and orbit being most similar. With Rally and beat you’re mobile. Tree can block damage if you use it. Trans is mobile with extremely high healing. Orbit, you stand in a beam and die., its really stupid.

It’s definitely not just you. Like Hanqz says, people’s instincts are to not step into what looks like an orbital death beam and her voice line - “welcome to orbit!” - does squat to indicate otherwise. On top of that, they went ahead and sped it up from the trial version! I think if it needed anything, it could afford to be slower. I’d be happy if the damn thing didn’t move at all, actually.

As it is, it’s awkward to use and the activation delay is a bit rough, too.

Yeah, her Ult definitely needs work. Like a rework. Its actually a detriment to your team if you try to use it because to gain any value you have to willfully move out of position.

Maybe if it doubled as an offensive tool and applied Burn Damage to enemies too.

I love her ult, it makes Sym a raid boss. it’s also a good counter ult for a number of the tank ults but you have place it properly.

They should have just make it stationary and have a wider radius upon casting that shrinks over time. Making it a much better ult when contesting a point. sigh…

It has the potential to be broken stats wise, but players really make it look terrible. It feels like you just have to cheese with it for solo kills like window instead of relying on your team unless it’s in response to something.

I’d honestly rather have Orisa’s old ultimate than Orbital Ray on Juno tbh.

Biggest problem with her ult is she has absolutely no control of it lol

They should have just made it like Zen and follows her around.

I do stand in it. It just… Does not do much? How much damage boost does this puppy have? I usually only have one Fire Strike available for it and the other one does not come back until it is almost over and I am already dead for pushing when a support main wanted me to.

:muscle: :skull:

it should have an option to roll it forward or keep it in place, too often you only get 3 seconds of value before it pushes into instant death territory

I’ve already lost count count of how many times I’ve killed my own team with it. It’s… a tricky ultimate to get value out of consistently.

Seen this happen a lot during her trial week.

Watching it roll over Illios well is kinda funny though.

Its unintuitive, so it will take even more time than usual for players to learn how to use it. When they do it might be a decent or strong ult. Time will tell.
