Just a complain about the fourm community but I made a thread here about a hero concept and made a joke, of which i stated was a joke, about blizzard “stealing” my character idea.
I outlined it was a joke shortly after the post started.
Ppl got mad and tried to correct me saying they didnt steal it.
I made an edit addressing this and bluntly stating, “its a joke, don’t tell me they didn’t steal i know they didn’t.”
I was just looking for advice/help on devloping my character, after my reply and edit

Just… you guys have to read this post for yourselves, I’m either getting punked or people really are just that… not bright.
While you’re over there do me a favor and actually comment with some suggestions/ideas if you feel like it, id love to start actually developing this character.
Look, most people lack more than a third grade reading comprehension. You use more than two four syllable words in a post and no one will understand your post. Don’t take ignorance personally.
Many people don’t even read my posts anymore but instead see “Mercy” and/or my name and instantly form a reply and assumption of what I am saying it seems quite often…
I get that but having like 5 other ppl give me the same treatment and basically ignoring my statements of it being a joke and trying to make me look stupid is really frustrating so I kindly ask you refrain from making said jokes.
Literally all that was similar was the characters name so I made one minor joke and now suddenly ppl think I’m serious and wont give me the time of day to actually help me with what I wanted.
I’m not taking it personally persay, though I am annoyed by it. I’m just using this as an example to make users more aware that they should read the full post before replying lest they actually look like the stupid ones.
I don’t know why people do that, like you should never just assume things about ppl like that, in real life or online. It’s a bad lifestyle to live.
