I don’t know if it’s just me, but it feels like more often than not I’m going to be down at least one teammate any time I get this map. It’s just a constant cycle of people loading in, seeing it’s Paris, and leaving the game. Don’t get me wrong, I don’t blame them for it, the map is atrocious and a genuine pain to play, but I really dislike leaving matches even if it’s just QP. The map was taken out of the competitive pool (I would assume because it’s being worked on/fixed) and I really think it should have been removed from QP too. If not, hopefully it’s at least updated soon.

I believe they’ll launch it in anniversary, but that’s just a theory.

No, it would be on the ptr first. Well, I guess there is a chance that they could put it in the ptr for anniversary. I think it’s very unlikely though.

From what I’ve heard they release new stuff in anniversary, like last year it was a new gamemode (workshop), so maybe they’ll make something?

They just need to add an option to blacklist certain maps from the queue the same way they did with random battlegrounds in WoW. Ban two maps, GG. I wish I never had to see Ilios, or Busan, and i’ll be so happy if one day that becomes possible.

That never happens when I get there. I must be lucky.
I actually had a match where I backfilled onto Paris second point. So did all five of my new teammates. The entire defending team had bailed and we all backfilled.

But with that said, there needs to be like a 30 min cooldown or something to prevent people from just leaving and rejoining queue. One leaver can ruin the match for eleven people.
And sidenote. The times someone being toxic, telling everyone in the team that they are trash and then leaving. And then we get a replacement and continue to get a win. I wish so hard that the leaver would get a message similar to “The match you left was won after your team got you replaced! :)”

I have to admit I feel like leaving when I draw Paris or Horizon, but I don’t because I am a masochist for punishment - either that or a hopeless optimist that this time, this match will actually be fun.
People suck at Paris so they don’t want to play it.
