People coming back from rivals for perks

Wow perks has really brought back the most miserable, toxic people.

I’ve encountered people blaming me for not healing and calling me a “trash dps Moira ” when I have 17 kills and 7k healing. Meanwhile I’m in the back line getting dived and fighting for my GD life.

The time where everyone left for rivals it was so pleasant. Everyone was nice, emoting at each other in spawn, saying gg to enemy team after games, banter before games. Now it’s like in ghostbusters where the river of slime is under nyc and it’s making everyone fight with each other.

Please have awareness of your other teammates and work together- even in quick play. If the game is making you miserable, stop playing it. I need a GD break to escape from this bull.

It’s been a report fest with the returning trash, and getting notifications of account actions.

But to be honest, I don’t mind them-I pity them. My life is far better than theirs while they wallow in misery and hate. Just view them as the bad stuff you walk in when walking on the sidewalk. Just wipe them off the bottom of your shoe and move on with the rest of your day knowing you’re not a miserable douche like they are.

It was a team of 10 from the US division. It’s not going to have a major impact. People will still play the game that won’t be an issue

This ended up being fake news.

The person that was laid off was originally reported to be the director for Marvel Rivals. He’s was a director at the NA division of Netease

lmao, ow2 players are dying to see other game suffer the same crap destiny ow2 have, only 6 people were fired from a secondary team that i dont know what their job was but seems was not important, is not like they fired 1900 people and destroyed ow2

So whilst it’s not the entire dev team from all studios, the people who have been laid off were important to development in various key roles and it’s a bad way to treat them for creating a very successful game. It’s telling Netease had to make a public statement regarding it.

I don’t think this is doom for MR though, I’m sure they can get cosmetic and character content pumped out with their other studios around the world and the fans will be happy regardless.
