PC User Interface on Console (PS4 and PS5 Versions)

When logging in to Overwatch 2 via the Playstation 4 version or Playstation 5 version, I cannot use my controller to navigate menus. All the prompts that would be for a Dualsense controller are displayed as PC inputs such as ESC and ENTER. When joining a group through the Playstation’s system menus (not through the game), and entering a game thanks to the group leader queueing for one, I am still met with the PC User Interface. I can select a hero to start, move and use the selected character somewhat, but I cannot change heroes in the spawn room, as the UI prompts me to only be permitted to do so if I hit H. Please help. This is a huge issue that’s persisted since logging in for the first time at launch making the game nigh unplayable, and has not changed as of yet. After realizing I was unable to play on console, I managed to begin playing on PC, and even initiated my account merge, which still seems to be incomplete as of time of writing. On both platforms, my main menu seems to be missing things like the shop, and other elements, as well as many of my unlocks. Any and all assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I’m having the same exact problem on PS4. I submitted a support ticket yesterday about it, and I’ll hopefully have a response soon. I’ll respond here with what they say.

i’ve been having that issue since launch aswell, submitted a ticket straight away and still havent heard anything back from them.

i got a response back from them. they told me to basically do what you’ve already done and report the bug in the forums. Amazing support lmao

Bloody hell, I finally managed to find someone who has the same issue as me. I’ve been pulling my hair out since and it’s ridiculous I haven’t gotten any response from CS

I keep tweeting to the customer service on twitter, but they ignore me :disappointed: I messaged them again on twitter under the newest post from @blizzardcseu_en, maybe you guy’s help me push it, or also message them there. Any help would be appreciate :heart:

So I finally got a response from Blizzard Support, and it’s just a copy-paste response telling me to restart my router and reinstall the game…

I appreciate all the responses to this thread. I hope Blizzard addresses this soon. If anyone gets an update or solution, please keep us informed. The issue is still persisting on my console and it’s hard to swallow not being able to play, especially after paying for the Watchpoint Pack. A week later and no reply to my ticket either.

The only game mode thats kinda playable is mystery heros :joy: since we cant change hero because of it telling us to press H, and even then that gets boring very quick. I had to get a friend to queue into a game for me. Im shocked at such a poor support response, seems to me aswell that they dont really care. I really hope they fix this issue soon

I have the same problem and blizzard responded to my ticket saying ‘‘we are unfortunately unable to respond to your ticket personally at this time. We have found that a large majority of the contacts in our ticket queue are already resolved or related to currently known issues, given the longer wait times we wanted to respond as fast as possible by sending this reply.’’. The rest of the message is just a link to the overwatch 2 forums.

Some people are saying that the problem should be fixed by Monday, but no promises.

this is absolutely ridiculous. i cant believe how blizzard is just treating us console players like garbage again. if anyone finds a solution, please update us on this thread. over 6 days and my ticket for this issue hasn’t been answered either, but i guess i shouldn’t bother looking forward to their response if that’s what they told you.

Same issue. Just letting blizzard know there’s a lot of us who haven’t even been able to play the game yet over a week later due to this bug.

ikr? its been more than a week at this point and they still haven’t come up with a solution for us to try. i have given up at this point and can’t be bothered to play overwatch anymore. i really hope blizzard is proud of this jacksh*t they made and killed the original game we all loved
