Blizzard is slowly turning this game into every other BR game. Don’t want it. Don’t need it. Keep aim assist where it belongs.

At this point in time I say delete comp that or make the game always comp give the console players back their aim assist that or force them to be support only if they end up queuing with PC players.
Make the game more casual and let people just enjoy themselves again because I swear when this game became more competitive it lost it’s idenity to appease a crappy audience.
I’m curious, console players claimed there was a big problem with people cheating by using mouse and keyboard on console - WITH AIM ASSIST. So If we are now allowing aim assist in crossplay aren’t we opening the door for worse games. I already can’t play comp cause the stupid matchmaker takes 10 years to find bronze games.

yes there should be the option to disable crossplay when aim assists exists.

You literally play with a point and click. Aim assist only smooths joysticks out it doesn’t begin to give the same control as a mouse. Beyond that it actually gives you an advantage. Someone on console running high aim assist has their gun drawn off target by every single thing that moves past it’s cross hair. So if you are getting beat by a console player … you are playing one that has almost zero aim assist on. I personally run mine at zero when playing Ana because it’s so frigging annoying. You aim down scope and Cass tumbleweed blows by and drags your cross hair. It’s ridiculous.
so when console players couldn’t aim, there wasn’t present day disingenuous outcry for opt-in/opt-out. now that console can aim, the panic attacks are surfacing. contradictory yet interesting.

its was disabled, from day 1, unjustifiably. now it’s enabled.
and suddenly disingenuous cries for opt-in/opt-out, are suppose to be taken seriously? no one had much of an issue, as some artificially do now, when console players couldn’t aim due to unjustified disabling of reticle deceleration. which is all that it is. why was there no uproar when console players couldn’t aim? bc certain pc players who are naturally ineffective, prefer every advantage, imaginable.

pc people wanna play against pc people. once crossplay was introduced… even without aimassist pc people asked for turning it off. just like consoles can turn it off and are not forced to play in mixed lobbies.

turning what off? crossplay or aim assist? if you mean, crossplay, then of course, [initially], back then, “some” pc players would want crossplay off because other ineffective pc players cried to have aim assist off. which is excessively stupid. bc ow was designed for pc. therefore, its unplayable on console without reticle deceleration enabled on console for crossplay. otherwise, resulting in console players not being able to aim at all. think. which is why some oblivious impulsives initially, preferred disabling crossplay altogether. bc console couldn’t aim whatsoever. proving that the logical solution was to ENABLE reticle deceleration to begin with. so the question is what are you not understanding?
you are aware that you can get a mouse and keyboard for the console? and console can now play with pc’s in qp and retain aim assist? If you use a controller with pc instead of mouse THEN you can’t enable aim assist.
True you won’t get consoles or aim assist in competitive BUT given how rubbish comp is right now and given some people prefer qp as their main game mode it’s not going to be fun going up against a console using a keyboard instead but with aim assist.

Let PC players disable crossplay. We should not be forced to play against people using Aim Assist. It will ruin this game like it has done to COD, Apex, Halo and other games on PC already.

Only if its permanent. No switching back, should you hear that’s its easier to win in cross play lobbies. On second thought considering that you may be an ineffective, your concern is invalid. As you likely don’t even own a console to even know what ow aa actually is.

pc players should have the same options as console players… to play against people of their own platform. idk when people decide to turn it on and play against aim assist. idk when they add a ranked mode/queue for crossplay when you have the option to turn it off. and with all the millions of players… this should not be a problem to do.
also people can plug in a mouse in their console and get aim assist for playing with m+k thats pretty much cheating for me.

what? are you crazy? lol. or oblivious? on console, no one uses console play only, unless they want their Q times to go through the FN roof. ask any console friend what their Q setting are? they’ll likely all say crossplay.

i do have enough consoles and i know enough console players who pref to play against other console players and not pc players…
