  • No, he said that PC players will play with parties of PC players AND parties of PC+Console players. He never said anything about PC players will play against PC only players as priority.

You are correct, they can end up on your team, but with no aim assist. Not that it matters much. OW aim assist isn’t highly regarded, so most experienced console fps players turn it off.

Either way, I don’t see why I wouldn’t be given the option to turn off crossplay to avoid console entirely.

Idc if it’s not comp, I wouldn’t want to be at a disadvantage for no reason.

It was quite clear… if you have a mixed group… you will match against mixed groups… If you are all PC you will play against all PC.

Also, the attutide of “console players aren’t as good” is a bit of a myth… And trying to gate keep it when cross-play is a massive selling point.

Also, a lot of people play OW on console with a KB&M… so I wouldn’t worry too much.

Getting forced into crossplay on PC is wrong… Even when it doesn’t affect competitive mode. Why can’t I decide if I want that but console players can?

ok but I wanna FULLY turn off crossplay. I don’t want a “oh there might be a chance will get matched with console players”. I’m glad it’s not in comp. if it was I would leave

Man can we just for you remove any rules for quick because it has no value?
Just allow everything, than everybody will be happy, because you have comp

??? And if I play solo what? I’m forced to play as a group to avoid console players? this update is a spit on the face to pc players, even more smurfs, now we have the same problems as console but even worse, cool.

Which doesn’t sound like a good reason. If people would rather wait longer to play with just pc players, that should be an option.

I assume cross play with people on 2 different consoles will be much more popular than console with pc. But still.

Burden of proof is on the one making the claim. I can’t negatively prove it other than say it is not stated in the video. Please timestamp when he states this in the video to back up your claim.
