Just played some Stadium QP Edition and the final round (we were stomping) was Payload Race. What an adorable mode! 
The little payload vehicles are dang adorable! 
The match started out with us way into the lead but the enemy team caught up pretty close to the end. We still ended up winning but it was the closest match in the game. I like how you have a choice between moving your mini Payload or disrupting the progress of your enemy team’s mini Payload. Having that choice is really cool 
The mode also sorta reminds me of Diddy Kong Racing or Micromachines with the mini Payloads racing each other, even thou those games didnt have a mode like this. 
I really like this addition Blizz Devs. Still not touching Stadium Comp until you revert the D, so Stadium QP is now fair game.

I think it’s a neat idea, but I think it’s going to be really hard for uncoordinated teams. There’s going to have to be some kind of unspoken balance for who stays and who goes since nobody uses voice chat anymore.

The map design for the mode are actually really good. You’re never too far from the enemy track, so it’s easy to push and contribute to the team fight. Mode is pretty well done overall.

Hoping it comes to regular QP as not a fan of the stadium gameplay!
Yeah! I really like the miniaturized maps that make that defense/offense choice a lot easier to make. If the map was huge, I feel like the mode would not work as well.
Definitely Goldlantern, coordination is key for this mode. Theres definitely some learning curve with teams deciding strategies and new players learning the mode.

It’s actually been pretty intuitive so far. Tank, a mobile dps, and a mobile support move to block enemy cart or intercept their blockers. Ranged dps and support hang by their cart to keep it moving. As I said above, maps are set up pretty well so you’re never too far from the action. So far, so good!

I always enjoy payload race in TF2. Shame they’ve made it Stadium only, while in QP we still have to play Flashpoint, Control and Clash.

It very well could be added to QP! I think it would it fit well in regular QP.
I wasn’t sure how I would feel about it, so it really helped me go into the mode with an open mind.
I actually quite like it! It’s leagues better than Push.

Agreed. I think its better than Push, more dynamic overall.
