I’m glad that recently they’re actually using the PTR to test things and not sending every single change to live like they used to do.
I’m fine with McCree staying the same, seeing as I didn’t understand the change to begin with.And I’m glad Orisa gets a tiny bit of relief lol.
This is a good thing, IMO. Close range is already his weakness. It’s better when they nerf places where a character is too strong rather than exacerbate already frustrating weaknesses.
They did. This is the first time they posted a major patch there in 11 months.
Unless you’re telling me that Halt doesn’t get easy combos anymore then nothing that made her a must pick sounds like it has been nerfed nearly enough. She still has invincibility on a relatively short cooldown (40% clearly is still good enough from what I’ve seen), she still has graviton surge on a cooldown, and she does merely 12ish less DPS than before which would still keep her firmly in the “way too much damage for her defenses” category of tank.
These are good adjustments on their part except McCree nerfs his fire rate lowered. As is he becomes the new S Tier damage dealer. Now we desperately need the lower tier heroes given love, as well as low impact heroes given opportunities to shine with high skill play.
I’m glad they didn’t go as far with Orisa’s damage nerf as they were going to. I can live with her other nerfs.

Sure dude. He’s not even A tier but ok. Popularity <> effectiveness in a match.
They also didn’t change Sig’s orb range.
I’m glad about the mcree change and am estatic that sig at least kept the range.

the patch we got a few days ago was for lucio’s eyebrows
the version of the game hasn’t changed and value of it is lower than the one on the ptr
it’s actually live i just checked mccree’s ult change and it in fact was changed!

I always find a statement like this strange. Why? You don’t have to keep your finger down on the mouse button, you can shoot slower on your own. Do you feel dirty playing a DPS character with a slightly higher rate than you seem acceptable within your own code of decency?

He is better than Hanzo in most situations now, and Mei is locked in as the other slot. Is Ash better? No. Is widow? Only at the highest levels, and not against popular comps.

Orisa losing 2s off Fortify CD, and less Halt time aren’t insignificant. And Sigma’s Ult change is the single biggest nerf anyone received this patch.
PTR “meta” was Rein Dva, so who knows.
