Ah yes the aet of passively forcing player to buy battle passes if the actually want to play the game
Depends on the nature of the battle pass. If it’s all cosmetics, you don’t need it at all.
Fallout 76’s battle pass is actually really fair. You can get a boost if you pay, but you are perfectly capable of earning all the rewards if you put in the time.
I sincerely hope that OW2 doesn’t end up like SC2. Because blizzard doesn’t care anymore about the game neither the genre.
The next 1-3 years would be decisive to the sucess of ow2, also could mean effectivelly ending it. The first year could get enough traction with PvE if PvE got released on October also, after that the profit from their “monetization system” would dictate if would become a flop or a success.
With all the money they’ve been sinking into OWL, I can’t imagine Blizzard giving that up. But if it blows up in their face then I won’t be surprised either.
Most of investments left the boat with the scandal. SC2 took the route of f2p and became a dead game, they tried HotS as f2p ended being dead.
OW2 being F2P on pvp, if their monetization doesn’t pay off, will be dead. They showed 2 times that if doesn’t work they would pull the plug without any remorse
What did I do this time?
I think you’re fine, sadly the princess are in another castle
Jokes aside what you think about the take of F2P and possible monetization?
Disco never dies, not even the inferno can kill it.
Why y’all keep comparing it with Immortal ?
One is a pc game another is a mobile game .
Mobile games are always very much more greedy , and it’s a MMORPG too.
Except it is the same publisher, and diablo immoral set a precedent for said publisher.
