We know they release heroes on a schedule to drive money for their ftp game. You dont need to update us

I dont care how many heroes they have, Im not playing if they never update their very dated game engine

I do think Blizz has blown it with this long content drought though

OW 2 was delayed it is what it is. the scandal didnt help things

Nah, its a balance. People wouldn’t put up with one new character every 5+ years regardless of how good said character was.

And ow characters aren’t that far ahead of paladins in terms of quality.

I feel like if they start teasing new heroes, there would be at least some “hype”, but I feel like they’re playing a bit too secretive for my tastes: especially if it’s releasing in Summer of 2022?

I’d say if we don’t see hero teasers by December-January, then that’s the time for critical concerns.

Well we are talking about heroes in particular… and it is not like the newer heroes have been very balanced either.

Not really. Balance really is not as big of a concern as many people believe, case: overwatch, the number of viable characters at a relatively high level is small, really small. But that just does not matter to the vast majority of players.

I’d say at least 40-45: Tank and Support could use the variety (we still don’t have a hitscan Tank or a builder Support).

OP specifically mention in 2021. OW hasnt realease anything within that timeframe. So there cant quality if nothing was realese.

i do want another support or two and we will get that in ow2.

Paladins has added some very lazy heroes like raum who are m1 spammers, not all of their new heroes are really note worthy. they added a hammond ripoff too
