probably because… people with this issue either started using a vpn or gpn to avoid getting “unfair” bans or completely stopped playing, should we open a ticket or something to get in touch with the devs or someone from blizzards side who can help ?
Yea i started using a Vpn … Borrowed from a friend … and i feel bad that i use his because i don’t have a credit card to pay for my own … >.< yea that’s how i play

What the support rep on the phone really meant was that a mob with pitchforks and torches has to show up to their HQ in Islamabad for any real change to happen. Has always been like this in the country.

The only way to play is with a Vpn its so sad that we now can’t play overwatch normally like we used to and free vpn’s are almost impossible to find nowadayss so yea

but support narrowed it down to just our country
I used exitlag for a while, now I use windscribe vpn again
it’s free servers are working again and its good for gaming
maybe when blizzard is done renaming characters
it can fix this and other issues to make the game playable

with 20% discount, the 3 months one is cheap like 2500 or
U can use windscribe vpn which is pretty good too

so i wanted to use Windscribe but then if you search Windscribe in overwatch forums like top right search bars … you can find someone got banned using that so i got scared and uninstalled it and if its okay to use… can you Please idk if its hard or easy for you how were you using it? like fully turned on while playing cuz you only get 10 gb or you had to turn it on or off and stuff… because when i turned it off while in game… my Game just said… Lost connection to servers … so ihad to close the game and launch it again.

I don’t know who spins these superstitious tales, but no using a VPN or GPN doesn’t get U banned. At least for me, I have used windscribe for months, and bought it as well for 2$. I now have bought 3 months of exitlag and have used it for months too. Windscribe Free is also good and it’s free servers are good enough. I only bought the paid ones cuz free ones stopped working for me but they are working again now. Try using Netherlands or UK ones. 10 GB is more than enough if U use it for OW and use it wisely. If U have PTCL, I suggest U get their FAST PATH service, then once U are on PC connect to a windscribe server. To test the ping I suggest U join an EU Discord Voice Channel. Then open overwatch and test latency in a custom game. Keep windscribe connected before U launch the game, turn it off once U are done playing. Also nobody cares what PTA allows or not cuz they are the most incompetent bunch. They cannot imprison U for buying and using exitlag lol.
Blizzard might be the only company who suggests U use a vpn instead of fixing their problems so it works and the game is playable. I have stopped playing OW all in all cuz of how broken it is and unplayable because of these issues. Move past the game and U might have a shot at a peaceful life or discover many other worth playing games.
Aright So hear me out… Lets just say i know someone that Could talk to PTA about this issue like he actually can. And he don’t know anything about Overwatch or Blizzard or their servers so if i wanna tell him to discuss this issue with them what exactly can i tell him? About that they are blocking blizzard servers? or what exactly are they doing so i can make that person understand so Then he can ask someone in PTA about this issue if you can please Tell me Exactly what i need to tell em so he can ask them about this issue Thanks.
Guys from my experience I can confirm to you all that PTA has nothing to do with this issue, a blocked IP or a port cannot just get opened by leaving and re-joining the game, it’s a pure networking issue about routing and the path that we use to reach blizzard servers as they are not “healthy”
all it needs is a technical troubleshooting that is either done by blizzard (and they said they won’t), or by our local ISP (and they can never give this matter any importance)
plus it includes the server itself that doesn’t accept our connection for some reason and should try to establish a new connection when one fails!
Yea like once you get that issue. what i do is go to my Resource Monitor and suspend overwatch in network for 10 seconds and then resume it and that actually fixes it like 60% of the time and if it happens again then i do the same thing and THEN the Third time my whole Game Crashes says an External application or something made overwatch Crash and then if its a qp i just gets kicked out someone else joins and stuff but without Vpn … how do you guys fix that when playing and that thing comes up? any other solution Hudaifa?
The resource monitor solution worked back in march but then it started causing issues and in QP it is so unreliable, in comp U cannot queue like this anyway as the game kicks U + bans and snatches away the hard earned SR. After 11 months the only workaround this is a VPN or GPN like Exitlag (RIP Haste). But it isn’t an issue with a certain ISP as multiple ISPs have it. Either it falls into PTAs web or it’s an issue somewhere down the routing Pakistani ISPs use. But this issue happens in almost all the servers now so my best guess is still PTA. They asked me to write to them and then come down to their Headquarters. I wrote a lengthy detailed email to them which AFFY U can find above and copy paste it to Ur contact. I also uploaded a video link of Youtube of what this issue looks like. If U cannot find all that U can add me on discord or instagram and I will forward this all to U. I bought 3 months exitlag hoping in those 3 months I will pay a visit to PTAs HQ but I stopped playing the game altogether.

yes bro there are a lot of workarounds, but they will just make you hate the game faster
I’ll show you what I have been doing lately, look as soon as I activate it, it solves the issue some-how it opens me a window
using “the window” I can move a bit, to avoid being kicked out for inactivity in 1st min in a comp match so it doesn’t cancel the whole game, and i use it to leave and join the match again:

WARP is still like a traditional VPN but one which doesn’t secure Ur public IP or data. It doesn’t have server routing options either. Reconnecting like that is still frustrating as hell. It’s probably a routing issue then as people from other countries also posted about this issue or unhealthy blizzard servers break our connection. Best workaround is still VPN or GPN. But will someone look into that after almost 10 damn MONTHS here ?
For some reason, I’m able to play using a hotspot, but not with wifi, if I try playing with wifi I just get the “Lost connection to game server”
