Packet loss issues

Hello,

I’ve been having alot of packet loss issues lately. Don’t seem to get it with other games currently and need some help figuring how to fix it.
I’m connecting to the Sydney Australia servers, but it happens to the Singapore servers and American servers as well when I’ve randomly connected to them.

I’m located in Australia, Victoria. My internet is FTTN and my general speedtest results are 9 ping, 54 down and 18 up and I’m connected via wi-fi.
My usual ping to the Sydney servers is around 34-38, sometimes low 40s. Since the past week or so every 30sec to 1min I get around a 4-6% packet loss out, the ping only goes up a little bit to around 80 but everyone rubberbands and get serious lag, though when this is not happening the ping is normal as usual.

I’ve tried googling for an ip address for the syd2 servers but can’t find one to do a tracert/ping in CMD if anyone could provide it so I can give that info also.
All drivers are up to date including my intel wifi drivers. I’m on the latest Windows 11 23H2 update. Router has been restarted multiple times and I’ve flushed the DNS through CMD with ‘ipconfig /flushdns’ with no luck.

If anyone has any insight on how to fix this it would be much appreciated! thanks

Update: It seems I’m now getting it in more games such as Marvel Rivals, Warframe and Texas Chainsaw Massacre… No clue what is going on but must be my PC.
As additional information I have my partner living with me and they are having zero issues on their PC. So that makes this all even more confusing to what is causing it.
I don’t have many programs on in the background, just Steam and Discord usually open.

Weird question, but does it seem to only spike after your first death? I normally run at 0% packet loss but the second I die it spikes to 96+% and it happens every game, makes it totally unplayable. Currently looking for a solution.

I dont know if its the same issue I had, try Going to Gamplay-HUD and Click always skip kill cam to on. Sounds weird, but its working for me so far. Let me know if it helps!

Unfortunately not. Right now it’s just at completely random times. But I have had that in the past and it seemed to just fix itself… not sure how
