I also did not receive any tokens from either Friday May 27 stream. No changes on my end, same device and browser I always use to watch from youtube. Verified several times to throughout the stream that the diamond connect symbol was displayed and refreshed the page. Note that I downloaded this browser less than a month ago and have only ever used it to watch overwatch league.
I was able to earn tokens for todays streams through youtube after clearing cookies and relinking my account, but I have not received the tokens from yesterday.
Thanks for the clarification, I only knew from past experience that I didn’t receive any drops if I muted/minimized the stream.
Also, I’d just like to add that I for one am still getting drops as of today after tuning into the streams.

Darling, my tabs are always muted and often minimized 
- I prefer to watch the league on my tv but you can’t earn drops from the tv youtube app, sooo… I am still getting drops from the OWL website just fine.
Muting the tab or the video player by itself isn’t an issue. If you put something else up on the screen and your computer doesn’t have enough ram, for example, it may stop the video playback to ensure your machine has sufficient resources to complete the task you currently have running, but aside from that blizzard aren’t spying to see and confirm whether you’re staring at your screen watching and listening to the league. To imply that is misleading.
I understand why you may have come to such a conclusion if your pc takes over control and decides “nope, I’m not having this run in the background”, but this is an issue that is on the client’s side and has nothing to do with the drops system. Find out why your pc is disabling your playback, is it ram, is it power settings, is it something else, and you’ll be able to get it to stop so that you can mute and minimize the tab to your heart’s content.
I’m not using my PC, but rather an old Tablet of mine from 2014 which I stopped using despite the fact that it technically still works because it had become too slow and often would have trouble loading larger webpages, so that alone would explain why it doesn’t like having OWL running in one tab while I’m attempting to do something in another.
Fortunately, I’ve since gotten a newer Tablet.
Yep, that would explain it. In any case, there’s nothing quite like the satisfaction of replacing an old and outdated piece of tech with a new shiny faster one. May you enjoy your new tablet for a long time to come and may the drops never stop raining!

I have checked the rules and I reside in one of the eligible countries. Maybe it’s because of the browser, but now I am trying with Chrome and using OWL site but it does occassionally happens that the green dot disappears. I hope they fix the Youtube problem
It’s working for me again, I did absolutely everything that was suggested.

Yeah, I havent received any single OWL token this last week as far as i can tell, from Thursday to Sunday, watching the OWL from YT live (red dot). My BNET account is also linked to YT.
I contacted blizzard support and asked them to credit the tokens to my account, but they are refusing. I encourage everyone to take a minute and contact support, stating that you did not receive the tokens you are entitled to, that the issue is on their end and that they need to give you the tokens you earned. If enough people contact them, we are far more likely to get them to acknowledge the actual issue and get a result.
Remember, a full day of streams is 65 tokens, that’s 2/3 of a skin. At 5 USD/100 tokens the amount they’re short changing adds up to be a lot.
Try different browser. My Firefox stopped giving me drops just like in your case. I switched OWL to Chrome/Opera/Edge and it works there

Is not working now … I watched for two hours today via YouTube and nothing … everything is as it should be … no tracker protection, no ad blocks, connected accounts etc …. I already swap to ow league website … but honestly guys just do ur job properly, is not science and this issue has been around in every season … stop being lazy
Same problem here. The stream it’s not getting paused. Everything it’s just like how it was last stream. I haven’t touched anything.

Hey guys, this time there does appear to be a widespread problem for the Thursday, June 16th. I got it reported in but will obviously need time for Blizzard to look into it.
Once again, I carefully evaluated based on how many reporting at any given time. Today seems to be a day more indicative of issues on Blizzard’s end.

Same, no tokens for 6/16. Watched the entire stream.
Yeah I got 0 but usually they reimburse for lost tokens based on time watched. Don’t think this will be any different.
