Hard to swallow pill #1: Overwatch is an eSport game. If it is well balanced in high-tier it is healthier for the whole community.

Meta changes all the time. Now it’s heavier comp, earlier it was dive etc. There is no way to “create” a meta what everyone loves. That’s why it’s changing frequently.
How so? Only content what matters gameplay-wise are maps and heroes. Yeah probably they still owe us a new map but that’s it, content frequency haven’t changed.

I doesn’t change frequently, especially with the slow balance changes.
Dive has been meta for 5 seasons, Mercy has been a must pick for 6 months, and Brigitte is still one of the strongest heroes in the game.

What is a good duration for a meta? 1-2 months? Change a lot of things every 1-2 months are you sure about that? As I said, there is always a meta. Some like it some don’t. I foresee the crying in these forums if heroes were changed every month.
Brig exists because of people whining about dive. What side are you on?

I’m not necessarily saying to switch the meta completely constantly just for the sake of change, but more frequent gradual changes would be nice, especially to heroes that are very obviously broken.
And I’m the guy who said that trying to counter dive ain’t gonna work.

The sooner this flop called OWL dies the better it is for the actual game… but knowing modern Actiblizzard the game would be forced either into maintenance mode or just gets the plug pulled.
Oh, don’t forget the 15 or so mobile games they’ll be launching.
While they said back during launch they never want OW to be an Esport. Its not healthy. On the contrary, the agressive marketing and the childish dramas made it into a disgrace (Except for marketing managers. Thats how OW became esport of the year.)
