OWL and/or Dev Team,
Will this feature be available for VODs? To clarify, if I miss a match and go back later to Twitch to view a match will these same features and functionality be available to me if I have the All Access Pass? Thank you in advance for your response!

as far as i know think the command center only works during live games
it will only work for live matches
Dear Overwatch-Team,
first of all i am sending my regards from Germany.
I am a big fan of the OWL and love to watch it. As you allready know we kinda struggle with streaming times here in europe (Friday till monday from somewhere around midnight till 06.00 AM). It would be possible to watch atleast 2 days live if you could stay awake the entire night but thats pretty hard.
For the “regular” working person with a 9-5 job its kinda stressful and definitly impossible to watch live the 1st and 4th day.
Thats why its so important that you give us the command-center-option even for the VODs. i just bought the All-Acces-Pass and have literally no use for it. I understand that the “commandcenter-feature” is not a thing just to you but also needs a cooperation from Twitch, especially when thinking about that the VOD is basicly “one saved perspective”. But i am pretty sure that a company like you can work something out.
Please give us a feedback on this topic because its pretty important to a lot of european fans.
Not to mention that i would like to the the match from the perspective of many different players. i think thats something even the american fans would appreciate.

No it’s work only on the twitch web site and when it’s live.
just a friendly reminder for this topic so a community manager can see this!
The Command Center is a dedicated stream channel for each individual POV and each different multiscreen template. Unfortunately that means there would be hundreds of videos uploaded every day the Overwatch League runs. Every match day generates approximately 15 terabytes of video files among all of these different camera views. Now Overwatch League at the Blizzard Arena saves all of these videos on a 2 Petabyte server but I feel it is too impractical to get that much data in the Twitch cloud. So needless to say it is a little impractical to have VODs through the Command Center on Twitch. Now if they ever launch the viewer software that we had for World Cup for Overwatch League where we can play POVs on demand in the game client that would be nice, but I think they are still working on its development.

That wouldn’t be nice, that would be freakin’ awesome! Especially if we could access it in game and view it with our friends while chatting.
Thank you for the insightful reply!
Dang… now that you described the actual file sizes… it does seem like a daunting task given our current tech levels.
Looking forward to a day where we can get POVs on demand of the League!
Adding to this, I think it would have been nice to have explicit clarification that this feature would not work on non-live matches, especially as someone from Europe I can’t get a lot of use out of this now.
