So I’ve been having the last patch. Whenever I boot up Overwatch 2, it shows playing now, my pc thinks for a moment, but then never ends up actually launching the game.
I’ve tried everything from reinstalling, clearing settings, scanning files, having other applications closed, updating/reinstalling drivers, to deleting tools, different screens, administration startup and all that.
I genuinely don’t know any other option anymore, other than trying to factory reset my entire pc, but I don’t want to have to do that.
Does any of you know what could be causing this?
Sent a ticket to Blizz support and they told me there was nothing they could do about it after having me reinstall Overwatch, restart my computer, and update my drivers. They told me to go to a computer store and have them “fix it”… Literally what CS said, no joke
This has been an on-and-off issue for me lately. It’s an issue with the Blizzard launcher itself. ONLY blizzard games won’t launch. I played OW2 and Wow Classic yesterday mid-day, came back in the evening and neither would launch—same today. Many people have reported this issue over the past few years. Every example i found either had no reply from customer service or a canned reply of “try these steps”.
There is literally a troubleshooting step list for this problem for every game on the launcher and they will say there is no known issue. (The issue is the launcher)
I had the same problem and also was told to take my computer to a shop to get it looked at, when there’s nothing wrong with my PC. Guess I am uninstalling the game
