Here’s a really simple idea.
Let’s say somebody is queuing for Quickplay on Tank.
Have it where it shows animated pictures or silent videos of tutorial content.
For instance, Pinging Stuff.
Kinda like an equivalent of “text guide tips” that you usually see during loading/queue screens in other games. Except with text and animated pictures. Or maybe silent videos.
Should help with some basic, but not obvious tips for new players. (i.e. The value of high ground. Don’t trickle. Protect ze Healer)
Here’s a bunch of tutorial trailers from another similar game. Just make something like that, but silent and with subtitles.
Alternatively, if somebody doesn’t want to see tutorial stuff. Have a random feed of highlight clips. And maybe let people rate the clips.
