is OW2 gonna come out this yr or is gonna be in 2022 when the game is finally release after 2 yrs of the announcement?

likely beta in the next 1-3 months and then full release around the holidays.
I can see Blizzconline going 3 ways.
- [The least likely] - We get to see a cinematic with new OW2 heroes, beta released at Blizzcon. Game launches before OWL in April.
- [Pretty Likely] - We see a cinematic with new OW2 heroes, release date teased for late 2021 or early 2022. New Heroes/Map potentially released throughout the year up until launch. More insight on the development of OW2 and where they currently are in the process
- [Also Pretty Likely but Hopefully we get more] - We see a new cinematic with OW2 heroes, no release date. More insight into how game is / what they are planning. Fox Hero Girl released.
More than likely, we are probably going to get option 2 (hopefully) but I think the game will be launching end of this year/ Q1 next year. However, we could be wrong as we quite literally know absolutely nothing so the game could probably be close to done for all we know.

Something very weird about āMetroā leak , the last one told us: ādevs get slow everything down, its not looking very wellā.
But, few months ago , i think in august , Metro said they problay drop a beta at blizcconline or even lanuch the game.
And i say either the first one is true or the second one is true -
its doesnt matter. the uncertainty that blizzard wanted is happend and now Metro him self is confus.
They say no new heros till ow2.
people here keep tallking on launch at 2022.
two years without any new hero ? then why tesse us with the fox one ?
listen, something here is weird and its just a mind games that we going through.
I think we gona get a beta at blizzconline , but the beta will be like a demo with push mode \ 1 stroy mission + 1 hero mission and that till the relase of ow2 mabye in April.
otherwise i dont see anypoint to make late the owl.

Honestly I have found myself believing that too. The whole thing with Metro seemed sus especially with the timeline that Blizz ORGINALLY intended for for the launch of OW2.
Iām almost positive OW2 was intended to release in November of 2020 with the new consoles as it would have been a massive boon in money for acti-blizzard. However, due to covid, the date was pushed back and it definitely makes sense that they could launch a Beta in Feb follow release before OWL in April.
However, that could also be entirely false so honestly who knows lol

Youāve also got to take into account how much of the game they showed off at Blizzcon in 2019 which was a year and two months ago. If itās true that the game is nowhere near completion, that brings up one question. How big is this game going to be? They showed off a lot of gameplay for a game that isnāt close to being done. Normally for games that arenāt close to completion, they just show off a trailer or sometimes a title card. But no, Blizzard had multiple demos for it. Hero missions, multiplayer matches, and story mode levels were all available. I think they are trying to make us think the game is far from complete but there is too much data against that for it to be true.

Yeah I was wondering the exact same thing. It was actually in October when leaked out that the OWL is being pushed to April in order to release OW2 before. Either being beta or full release. And now all of a sudden he says its very far off? Its definitely strange to be correct about the OWL leak, but extremely wrong with the other.
I think OW2 was planned for late 2020, but delayed because Covid. Which, I canāt see the game being delayed too much because of the pandemic. Maybe 6 months, tops. But, if it is delayed heavily, then they should definitely release another hero to make up for it.
Iām praying for some big news at blizzcon, and hopefully a release date.

We donāt know anything official ye But I imagine that OWL was delayed this year because they want the players to compete on OW2 (meaning it will release in April or slightly before). I cannot imagine why else Season 4 of OWL would have been delayedā¦
Or if not I think a OW2 Holiday 2021 release at the latest. But that is just me speculating, I donāt have any sources for this.

Another thing is he was blindsighted by the āfox heroā lore so either his sources dried up, arenāt drip feeding him anything anymore or his making claims like everyone else can do.
Another good reason they could have delayed Overwatch 2 (outside of Covid) could be for the heroes to be in the Overwatch League, to better promote it 
However Iām merely speculating 
It is not as though that changes the fact that they are notoriously slow workersā¦ and during a pandemic, one can only imagine that would remain the same to a more exaggerated extent.
I think itās just a strange and sad state of affairs that fans of the game have to resort to guesses and reading the tea leaves, rather than being given a clear understanding of the direction and state of development.

Also i think the book of āart of ow vol 2ā , all the stuff with the āsneak peak of ow2ā , its just because to make us more confussā¦
My guess its a book that show the progrssion of dev of those heros and also they give us a short look at ow2 art dev. Itās a art book , its mean to art of ow , i think people get this very wrongā¦
They probably waiting with OW2 until real robot vs human war, to get the most realistic campain scenario there can be.
Also the āArt of Overwatch (1)ā was released in October of 2017 so people who say that the āArt of Overwatch 2ā has to come out before OW2 could definitely be mistaken.

Most people have fallen for this mistake and thatās fine.
But i dont get it why stremers and youtubers keep take this expamle of the late of the ow2 game. cant the see its all about the book and thatās .
Its doesnt mean the game. ow2 , couldnt get earlier just becuase that said.
