When I booted up battle net, the pre-load started but for some reason it was capped at 99 KB/PS. So, I restarted my pc to see if that fixed the issue, what I got instead was that it wouldn’t pre-load at all anymore.
Anyone else having issues with not being able to pre-load the game?
Try clicking the gear next to the play button and checking for updates.
Background downloads like that are capped by default. You have to go into your download settings and disable it.
I’ve done that multiple times over the last hour, and all I get back is it saying ‘‘up to date’’ under the ‘‘play’’ button
I own watchpoint and the battle.net app isnt even letting me see overwatch 2 as a game.
You will not see Overwatch 2 as a game. The pre-download is called “pre-release content”. You can do this by pressing the gear next to the play button and check for updates. If you are up to date + there is a green text under the play button (“Pre-release content downloaded”) you are fine!
Note: In order to trigger the update you need to have Overwatch 1 installed!
I’d recommend permitting Battle.net and Overwatch to access through the Firewall and go into the Battle.net downloads setting for Network Bandwidth: Latest Updates and Pre-release Content to 900,000,000 KB/s each just means unlimited bandwidth essentially till the download it done
it is a chunky download but if you click on the speed number you can modify the bandwidth limit because by default it’s only 10 kbps in order to prevent you from lagging on other games or during your browsing experience. 10 kpbs as you see is nothing lol and it would take you weeks to download the full thing on the background
Sounds like you did it your sleep already my d00d
