Something is going on with the Paraiso map and it seems to be affecting other players. My FPS goes really low (single digits) on just this map. Other maps seem to run just fine. Just started today.
I had this issue the other night, but haven’t had it since. Played for hours prior that day, then loaded in as backfill to Paraiso and had 7 FPS… SEVEN. It felt like I was playing Overwatch: Doom Edition. I usually go into my Task Manager and make Overwatch a High Priority application so that it renders fine while other apps are running in the background and I thought despite that, it might be some other software, so I canceled everything else and it was still bad.
The next match was perfectly fine. I thought maybe it was either a server malfunction, but no one else complained during the match and the replay was fine, only minor stutters from my POV (when the server received my input I guess), and other players’ POVs and Third-Person POV were perfectly fine.
So I ruled it as either a fluke or a hacker lag-switching the server.
Good to know that someone else experienced something like that with that map too, but I feel like it might just be a random thing that happened to a server.
