Damage role isn’t the most impactful - it’s tank by far!
Something I’m noticing is lots of little misunderstandings about the game and these are going to hold you back as well because you have these presumptions about the game and how it should be played or what’s strong and what’s not - this is something you need to reassess…
I’ve already given you a good suggestion, with regards to other heroes that you can try - so if you genuinely feel that it’s your hero holding you back then you should try a different one!
Then honestly give her a try - but she’s not the only one you could play that doesn’t require amazing aim!

I had a funny idea, which is I could get one of those Nintendo switch joy cons for my left hand, and then use mouse for my right hand - I’ve heard of other players doing this, so maybe it’s worth a try?
