So is this maintenance actually for fixing the servers as in in a few hours we can finally play or is it for something else?

yes its to fix server stability. I can say without a doubt that’s been the focus of every single person at Blizzard on the overwatch team since the game launched.

Are the main issues console players with merging accounts? PC players appear to be logging in fine today.
Actually no, there was no queue but I kinda don’t wanna play knowing servers can shut down any minute xD
I think the post said that the second maintenance was for updating the database which will probably help with login issues

You would need a mountain of evidence proving otherwise. It’s just such an obvious thing that it makes the perfect example to show the difference between emotional and logical thinking.

Waited in a queue for an hour not knowing there was gonna be a maintenance. Got disconnected so was going to have to start all over…Then funny thing happened, the announcement changed warning about the maintenance! Thanks for that, would have been helpful that were updated earlier so i don’t even bother today!
I have gotten a lot of hours playing though so I’m grateful. But i think I’ll be giving the game a break for a few days and hopefully this queue isn’t such a nightmare anymore
I just logged on took 3 minutes and currently playing … played 2 matches no problems sp far
