IMO they are fixing OW1’s issue. OW2 looks promising TBH.
OW1 is dead with the way the game plays right now.
If Blizzard didn’t make changes for OW2 and just kept it similar to OW1, OW2 would be dead on arrival as well.
yes because needing to land a punch and knock them into the wall to do less damage than a single rien swing that takes half the time, is going to be good.
because a winston leap with less protection is going to be what you choose over winston
because youre going to use doom for his shield to speed up his pathetic damage over zarya who can do the same thing from every direction on herself and others.
because youre going to choose Doom for disruption over hammond.
More disruption than Zarya, more damage than Hammond.
You are like “OH NOES it isn’t doing damage over this REALLY damaging thing, and isn’t as disruptive over this REALLY disruptive thing…”
Like, seriously, hybrids shouldn’t be stronger at what a specialist does, in the specialists thing.
As long as he is good enough at the things he does, he will be fine.
He can soak 4500 damage from the front, and will power up his fist well before he soaks that much. He will be able to give space for a rotate for sure.
Soujurn is a lazy combination of baptiste, soldier, and widow.
just lol
Orisa got literally deleted
this is an objectively good thing
doom got gutted to a combination of zarya and hammond in the worst ways, and to my surprise they managed to make meteor strike worse
Mechanics are going to overlap eventually, and calling “he absorbs damage and slams things” copying Zarya and Ball is quite a reach and ignores a lot of all 3 heroes.
lazy development, taking the easiest solution, and kowtowing to complaining rather than fixing the issues.
lazy is when you completely rework a character’s kit from the ground up instead of tweaking numbers because their kit is inherently flawed design-wise.
