We know from the Developer Update that pros already have access to the game.

At this point ppl gets hyped even if they see a feet one of Heroes so that guy who wants to see haracters own feet would go crazy

I blame the devs. Why on earth would they make OW2 a launchable version of OW1 and give it to content creators? I used to do this all the time between the PTR and live version. Such a blatant oversight on the game devs.

Kind of surprised they included XQC in the beta. I know the guy is popular, but he has given Blizzard several headaches in the past. Time heals all wounds, I guess. Or at least streaming numbers do. :smile:

The content creators should know they’re under NDA. So people shouldn’t be leaking things out of respect for said NDA. But ya know, overwatch.

He didn’t do it on purpose… He knows that they are under NDA, that wasn’t my point at all. Giving people who stream the game access to an Alpha that is under NDA, then making the way to launch this NDA product a drop down list on the product they stream for a living is obviously going to result in accidental openings of it on stream.

Logo has changed from the old one that included the number two, to a more coloured overwatch logo with orange instead of yellow on top.

This is awfully naive.

More likely: these people make a living off getting attention and leaked a thing to get more attention. Blizzard can’t do anything about it because they’ve firmly placed themselves under the heel of content creators and he’s the only one left that really pulls numbers.

Idk. His reaction looked genuine to me. I legit think he just didn’t notice the test server was still the selected version lol. It’s an honest mistake that I can see plenty of people making - myself included lol.

Tho that is a funny thought lol.
