and in 4 years they have managed to:
Add 5 maps
Add 2 heroes
Make minor adjustments to some heroes
Add 1 new mode which is a slight alteration of Payload maps
Is this a joke? no wonder the game’s gonna be free… who the hell would pay $60 for this

OW2 has been in development for that long but it’s not going to be free to play. It’s been pretty clear that only PvP is free.
In terms of how much content OW2 PvE has, barely anything has been revealed so we don’t know too much about how much content there is for that gamemode.

We have seen at least 8 new maps actually. Probably more push maps coming since that mode is the one that needs to be caught up.
And there is another pvp mode coming as well as push.

Not to mention it was originally free only for the OW1 owners.
They know there is no chance to keep this community with a paid game that probably has less stuff to offer than OW1.

they have been teasing Moira’s new look since 2019 and look at the garbage we got compared to every other hero

NQS, Midtown, Colosseo, Rio, Circuit Royale, Gothenburg, Lisbon and others that we’ve seen concept art for but haven’t been confirmed (e.g. India)
Three have been confirmed, there were rumours of the press seeing silhouettes of 4 new heroes (none of which were Sojourn)

no way u gonna sit here and say it looks good, when they completely went from mage look to Moira being in rags and they even remove her flick of hair and her eye piece is sticking out like a sore thumb compared to the old one
You forgot the PvP 2.0 will be free and that they worked mostly on PvE for the last years. So cry when PvE is also shown and not when the first part (PvP) is coming out.

Fairly certain we’ve seen a small section of India in old gameplay footage, they just didn’t explicitly say it was India but… I mean, it was pretty clearly India. Aaron Keller also suggested that India and Gothenburg would both be maps for the new game mode after Push.

Only our community can find a way to be upset that we are getting a FREE TO PLAY launch of Overwtch 2 in EARLY OCTOBER with multiple new heroes and maps

f2p doesn’t bother me apart from I’m just very worried about DPS queue times, but that still doesn’t affect me either way, but IK if it affects queue times we’ll have months and months and months and months of “F2P ruined the game DPS queue times now 20 mins waaaaa remove role queue”
Tell me why anyone who owns the game should even care about the game going free. All this is going to do is going from free cosmetics to paid ones.
