OW2, Error: Code Signing Violation detected

After a mini update for Overwatch 2 (game update), I am now getting a " code signing violation detected" error.

I was playing normally just an hour ago before the update. I play on PC (Battle.net)

I left a ticket with support, and they just closed it without any information. And they sent me a survey to fill in, lol.

This is the error:
Code: Siging violation detected!
Name: kern3132.dll
Path: C:\window\system32\kern3132.dll

when I click on “ok” it crashes the OW2 client

Any help will be awesome.

having the same problem

It got fixed later that day with a little update. But It has happened again… This usually occurs when a file or driver on the system doesn’t have a valid digital signature, which Windows uses to ensure the authenticity and integrity of files. I have an antivirus and I can say this is not harmfull. But this guys maybe have named wrongly a file AGAIN…

having the exact same problem as well with the new update that just got released

Name: atidxx64.dll ?

Atidxx64.dll is categorized as Win64 DLL library files. As a atidxx64.dll file, it was created for use in ATI Technologies Inc. Radeon DirectX 10 Driver by Microsoft. So maybe your problem lies on the incorrect instalation of the Update. Maybe you want to try to repair or reinstall the game. But if we all are playing on PC the best answer can be to wait til the developer team/tech support team fixes the issues
