Do we know anything about how competitive points will transfer/work from OW1 to 2? I have about 6k saved that I hope I can use for the new support wep. If not then… welp, random weapon dump I guess.

blizzard is back to their radio silence and we wont hear from them until oct 4th when they tell us that that date is actually the date of a new game instead of updating our current game.
if you played the beta, i checked junkerqueen and sojourns golden gun, junkerqueen had one but sojourn did not. so i have no idea what the hell that means. i dont know why one would have that color model but not the other… so who honestly knows.
we wont get an answer… the only answer is that golden guns are not going to be a thing in this update were getting oct 4.
i’m positive their keeping golden guns, they even had golden guns accessible in the betas. also OW2 is only 54 days away, their radio silence is fine for now unless the push the date up again.
if you have your golden gun… youre going to keep it. but for new heroes, there has been no indication from any of the devs that you will be able to get sojourns golden gun for example if you have left over points.
and if you read my post you saw that junkerqueen had the color pallet swap while sojourn didnt… so who the hell knows what that means.

They will carry over but i would use them now if I was you. The comp rewards may change for OW2 and you can always get comp points later if they are still a thing.
Yes they said that they will transfer and we even saw JQ golden weapon. I also farmed the points in OW1 to buy the golden weapon for fox girl at OW2 release.
Dont spend them. I for one dont take the risk because the grind was hell.
I’ve been wondering about Comp points as well, questioning if I should spend them before OW2 comes about. I should have enough for 2 Golden Guns still…
