OW2 client for Linux?

I’d love play OW2 on Linux natively. If not, make it easy to run via protondb or Lutris?

Atm Overwatch runs without problems using Protondb. Infact it runs better for me on Linux do to not having to use radeon drivers (radeon drivers are garbage on windows).

Anywho +1 for Linux support.

I agree, I’d love to see a native *nux client. That said, OW runs flawlessly for me via Lutris install script. Wish Hots worked though, endless stuttering that I can’t escape there

Extremely unlikely, Blizz have never released a linux client for anything before. Might happen who knows, they got OW clients for PS4 and Switch, there are similarities between those clients and linux.

I’d love Linux support as well. But dollar for dollar, I’ll take a working polished, highly optimized windows client. Would rather see dev resources spent fixing the cesspool of a ladder.

For me, it adds latency and doesn’t feel as responsive.
Not ideal for competitive fps/esports.

I have Windows installed on a separate ssd. To me it’s a waste of space. Ever since I have used Lutris for Overwatch I havent used windows since.
