Is it me, or does the aim… feel weird compared to OW1… I’ve checked every hero and the settings match exactly what I use for OW1… I’ve seen this topic (a few months ago) raised for PC players with the reason being the 10% passive buff to damage… but that no longer applies for this beta… aim feels almost ‘floaty’
Anyone else experiencing this?

I noticed the same thing at first.
I had to change some graphics options to fix it - I disabled “dynamic render scale”, set the “in game resolution” to 100%, and disabled “high quality upsampling” in the advanced options.
After that, it felt a lot better.
Are those settings for console or PC?
Those are PC settings, but I assumed they changed the graphics options for console to make use of the improved technology, too.
Are none of those listed? If so, my mistake.
Although… I had all the same config settings I use in OW1, except the first time I loaded it these new options were enabled by default.
Could it be possible that some kind of “dynamic rendering” is enabled automatically on console too, but there is no visible setting to change it?
I noticed some people in twitch chats asking “how to change OW2 settings to OW1” or something similar which indicated sensitivity or the general ‘feel’ of the game felt off. So you definitely aren’t alone.
It’s same problem on PC since the first Beta
Not sure but I’ll have a look later. Thanks for the tip.
We need to get this thread noticed. Im having trouble aiming too, im hoping it just hasnt been completely transfered over to console settings just yet. I cant even change the settings incrementally. Only by 10s which is wrong also. But it definitely feels floaty on console aiming and i cant control it sometimes

On Xbox, if you hold down the ‘X’ button then you change the settings by 1 at a time, instead of just 10. It’s not explained but it is there.
