I’m done playing against hardcounters. I’m done being stunned into oblivion. I’m done with tank mates not doing anything but Shields up and standing still. I’m done with cheapshot cheese tactics that are easy to dismantle, but hard if no one on your team has team coordination. I’m done working my butt off with no result because no damage can dismantle a bunker composition. Give me 5v5, Give me the brawly tanks. Give me the stun nerfs. Give me the Battlepass where I actually have to work for my rewards. All the haters are wrong, Overwatch 2 will REIGN.

The beta had hard counters so i don’t think that is going away nor that 5v5 will make the matches less painful.

That is where you are wrong. The “haters” which lets be honest is anyone who criticizes the game to you were correct. From the start we said that this was going to be unfun and harm the community by shoving heroes into the BP grind. You can scream FREE all you want. Its not free, as free implies you dont have to spend tens maybe even hundreds of hours grinding to obtain it. Time is the most valuable currency out there and this proved all of us correct. But its ok, you can continue to label all of us “haters” as you please. I for one hope the game is good, but this is Blizzard and they have NOTHING but bad will over the last five years

Interestingly A LOT of the changes made to improve gameplay would improve 6v6 substantially. I just can’t understand why we’ve not tried it out.

Na na no no. You don’t get to say “It will be unfun”, that’s not for you to decide. You do not speak for those who WILL spend their time on it because YOU don’t like it.
Largely because the game devs do not actually play the game at a high level and don’t understand. They refused to listen to player feedback, then after waiting too late to enact the change they go in the wrong direction. I share your confusion but the simple answer is incompetence.

Do YOU believe that it will be fun for anybody in competitive to play knowing themselves or their teammates do not have a hero that may be vital to switching the game around? Btw if you did some actual reading instead of getting offended the moment you saw criticism you would see this part.

I do not care much, since hard countering is severely reduced. And they do not switch in OW1 at the moment. That will not change and it does not bother me.

Classic moment. I love these moments. You are called on your hypocrisies and then immediately fall back to the epic “why are you here” argument. My opinions since you so kindly asked for them are based on the fact that locking a hero in a BP grind that players must get through to get not only makes it rough on competitive but will annoy some players as well. Will you have fun when a player on your team says they dont have a hero on their BP? If yes congrats I guess but a lot of people will likely disagree with you. Also the fact that you are saying my opinion is based on nothing like Blizzard hasnt been absolutely swan diving its franchises for the last five years is actually insane. Before you sit there by the way with another false “gacha” moment do yourself a favor and do some research after all one search into their investor meetings shows that the company reported an 80 MILLION monthly active user loss in the span of four years. But what would I know, my opinion is nothing according to the guy who had the balls to come in here and act like he is the hero of this story while contradicting and being a hypocrite every sentence

No flame to you as we already passed that yesterday and for me bygones are bygones. That said he typed that above and are you really shocked that people called him on it? By the way let me state that I didnt even go in looking to have a duel with the guy. I left my statement left and the next thing I know the hypocrite is sitting there making false statements like they are beyond it
I personally think he was talking about people that say and repeat everywhere the game will fail.

Even if that were the case this is a forum. People are free to be happy or annoyed or joyous at all times. Its what makes the discussions fun. At least for me I love having discussions and sifting through arguments for good talks of how a game could improve or be diluted. Like I said above. I had no interest starting a duel with the guy at all
