OW1 ends with 32 heroes: not 1 black woman

But she literally is black.

What does he mean by “most of Egypt is in Africa” ??? All of Egypt is in Africa last time I checked

The fact that some of you think:

Person from Africa = black

Thats racism and pure ignorance

You literally put “and by black I mean an African woman” do you know that Africans can be white? Why you ignoring the rest of my post huh?

I think there is a city or small area in Asia

Maybe people react a bit sensititve when OP opens up with a clown emoji regarding the devs for including Hammond before a black woman in the game as if having the skin colour representation has higher priority than having a cool and fun, unique character which is within Winstons lore.
The whole story of OW revolves around racism against omnics and how people now try to coexist after the war.
But somehow the devs hate diversity and are racist because it took them this long to add a black woman even though there are already plenty of black men in the hero cast. Lets ignore for a second that Soujourn and Efi always have been part of the side lore to the game.

I can’t believe this racism is allowed on the forums.

Reported!

She has Egyptian ethnicity. Doesn’t make her black lmao.

Like my dad’s side of the family is partly from south Africa, he’s white. African ethnicity, still doesn’t make him black.

IM not, ur just putting words in my mouth at this point, i do not think that everyone that is African is black just like the south Africa example, but Ana’s skin tone is black

My name isn’t Warren.

She’s light skin black in my eyes :man_shrugging:t3:

What is your name???

Sojourn has not always been a part of the lore and neither has Efi. Sojourn was an unnamed flicker in the recall cinematic that you had to slow down to even get a look at her, that’s not representation.

I appreciate your respectful reply, dont worry Im not trying to call you out or anything.

But I guess we can agree now that Ana is not a black woman, right? (Despite being from Egypt, a country in Africa)

There is a litteral story book of Efi and Orisa wtf do you mean

However, black and African are not interchangeable even within the black community. Distinctions matter, so use precise wording.

My name is William. You have me confused with someone else.
