OW1 ends with 32 heroes: not 1 black woman

Please just close this thread, jfc.

Not an insult, just curious how someone can think a robot being voiced by a black woman is adequate black representation. And then equate that to monks, somehow. Mind boggling stuff.

Please just stop speaking to me. I forgot how hot of a topic this mess is, and I really wouldn’t like to be a part of it.

Thanks, goodbye (for real this time)

Once again, why does no one appreciate the characters in the lore?

Just to name the black women:

Adawe founded the original Overwatch and her foundation helped Efi to build Orisa

Without Efi, the only city in equality and peace would be defenseless

Without Sojourn, OW wouldn’t have a proper strike commander

Why is everyone saying Sym is black? She’s south asian LOL

Being asian is not a skin colour.

Ok, please think before you speak on something you obviously have no clue about. See ya.

Don’t act dumb. You know the OP was wanting a character of African descent.

But obviously that character having a dark skin tone is black representation according to you.

My eyes have never rolled so hard holy hell.

Sure there is not a current female black character but we do have 3 males currently and 1 CONFIRMED female that we know of in OW2, whose to say more aren’t coming along with Sojourn in OW2?

He probably thinks a tanned person is black :sob:

Tbh I don’t get why people want so much diversity ingame…like sigma and I are Dutch yet there’s not a single cell in my body that wants to play him just because we relate

I’ve actually seen a lot of people actually say this about Gabriel Reyes/Reaper who is Mexican decent

No, it was to talk about how OW has not had any female black representation on the hero roster in 5 years but then people started calling OP racist for… checks notes wanting that representation.

Followed by a whole lot of dumb comments

Sometimes both things are right. It took too long for a black hero to come out and ow has a fantastic, diverse list of heroes.

Since when does skin color matter :^)
