Would be a much better experience.
Oneshots leave you no room to counter because well…you are dead. Snipers/doomfist this is for you. Thank you for barrierwatch!
Stuns? You can’t counter because you cannot move and thus in average play you are dead. Barrierwatch is still in full effect.
Flying heroes? Obviously we can work around this. But the work around was like 50 hitscan heroes. That just tells you that adding a flying hero to the game was a mistake.
Now said flying hero is stuck in a bad place FOREVER and we have hitscanwatch which in turn created barrierwatch.
In conclusion, these things need to go and Barrierwatch needs to end by nerfing those darn barrier recharge times.

I like how you imply that you can only counter things after they happen, and can’t do anything to avoid or mitigate them. Which you can.

And a much boring game too.

Agree. While one shots like pre-nerf Doomfist were really annoying, a lot of one shot/combo abilities can be blocked/escaped if you switch to the right heroes to counter.
This is an ability based game along with FPS components, not just an FPS. If you want a pure FPS there are plenty of options out there for you.
Getting oneshot and waiting to respawn is fun! Nice logic friend.

Overwatch but what if Call of Duty

Fine, then get rid of any mobility abilities.
But you can one shot in CoD
It would be a disaster. One really boring game to play, and I assume it would die within 48 hours.
could you imagine if we got rid of all of these things from traditional moba’s, how dull of an experience that would actually be?
why don’t you just come out and say you want overwatch to be a generic fps.
Probably the only one shot that I hate is Hanzo’s (I have like 150-200 hours on Hanzo, so I love using it, hate being on the receiving end). With Widow, it’s easy to know where her spots are, what the LoS of those positions are, the angles her hook shots present, + the sound and visuals from the her shot to the bullet trail make it so her position is crystal clear once she starts shooting, etc. I generally play with the mindset that a Widow is going to hit me in the face if she can see me.
With Hanzo, he can just spam spam spam spam down a hallway through there team, through your team, and 1 random arrow will just hit at head height right as you run by 100% unintentionally going through 10 other players first. I do it all the time :l it feels dirty.
I don’t mind Doom, his is pretty well telegraphed and now that the playerbase is becoming more familiar with how to counter him, he’s less of a nuisance.
You would also have exclude healing, cause without stuns and spike damage nothing would ever die
Yeah, I must be crying as a Widow, Doomfist and Hanzo player lmfao yal are just clueless
Mobility is what makes the game interesting, and it was a big selling point for the game. However, one could argue the post release heroes have too much mobility.
As it stands now, an Overwatch without these 3 things (flying somehwat less) would likely devolve into 6v6 supportwatch with nobody dying for most of the time.
You’re really underestimating how important they currently are to keep the game progressing… it’s probably why you have issues with them: because they’re pretty much the only things that still make a game progress, which makes them really stand out.
It sounds like No Limits Tracers VS Tracers
basically you want to play CoD? when you bought the game you missed the mark too far.
It wouldn’t be Overwatch. Maybe you should look for a game that satisfies you more and fill these criteria rather than change an existing game millions of people love.
All of these things have been in the game from its inception. It’s not like you’re asking to regress. This is another game you’re asking for.
It would be 1000 times worse. Nothing to stop the mobility heroes.
