You are going to do it for OW2 any way, this request is not new tech. As you have removed Paris and Lunar base. I understand you can’t remove 2cp mid season.
Everyone upvote to make sure this request is sooner rather than later. OW2 is looking like a 2022 release at the soonest.

From the people I talked to, more than half really really hate 2cp. It takes to much coordination to cap the point due to spawn advantage. Its not designed for rando’s in mind.
What’s more repetitive is having Hanamura show up 5 times a day even though there’s supposed to be a 1/19 chance it comes up. Yet there it is, always popping in the queue.
Also 2CP makes up 3 of the 19 maps. It will not get repetitive at all removing them for ones that are actually fun.

I keep getting Havana, i don’t hate it but hanamura is by far my favorite map (after kings row)
The map pools felt repetitive for a reason
I would play 19 matches in a row of Havana to half a match of Hanamura. I actually like point 1 of Hana, it’s point 2 I can’t stand. To be honest, that’s every 2cp map except Paris. Point 1 is amazing, point 2 sucks.
Considering I rarely get to play 3/4 of the other maps because I get nothing but 2CP, they don’t to me. And even then, I’d rather have fun on a repetitive maps that’s good, then suffer 2CP.

If they remove a quarter of the maps now, how are people supposed to be excited about OW2? The idea of no 2CP was the most exciting thing about Blizzcon for me.
