OW Starts, goes to a black screen, then crashes

I posted this before and haven’t found a fix yet, but here we go again:

When I click play on PC it loads a black screen then instantly crashes. I tried to run repair, it says it’s fine. I have reinstalled, the same thing happens. Updated my driver, the same thing happens. Moved the game to a different drive, the same thing happens. None of the previous fixes I’ve found online work as I have no Razer hardware or software. I even checked my installed programs and system registry to be sure.

DxDiag

Most of your DxDiag is missing (about 90% missing). Please either add it here or post on Pastebin. Usually this is caused by Razer Synapse, Corsair Display Adapter, Avast, or AVG.

This is a good example of the Razer problem:

Problem signature:
P1: Overwatch.exe
P2: 1.59.1.15874
P3: 60776f44
P4: RzChromaSDK64.dll_unloaded

Instructions pinned at top of forum:

I also see errors in your report for the Corsair adapter:

Problem signature:
P1: Corsair.Service.DisplayAdapter

And the Razer Game scanner module:

Problem signature:
P1: GameManagerService.exe

My apologies, RE8 came out and I have been distracted with that lol. Here is the full DXDiag.

Upon looking for myself, I see the Razer issue you are talking about. I’ve never even purchased a Razer product so I have no idea how it got there?

I found and deleted it from my System 32 registry.

Careful manually deleting it from the registry like that. If you don’t get rid of all the services and DLLs the crash will still occur.

The thing I usually recommend to do is to install Razer Syanpse 3 and then immediately uninstall it. The uninstall process for Synapse 3 will go through and properly remove all the old DLLs and services that are known to cause the crash.
