FPS are all pretty bad right now, we’re in the dark ages of gaming. It’s prime time right now for a new gaming company to come in and get really popular and push these zombie companies out of the way.

There are none like OW2. I’m going to sink with the ship.

TF2 is the closest we really have, and that game has passed its prime too.

Plenty of better fps games but none like overwatch, that’s part of what makes their failures something that will be talked about for years to come.

valorant/csgo = boring and slow paced camping corners and falling asleep
fortnite = only a stupid battle royale mode
every other FPS = generic shooter like call of duty

there’s several good niche games like Gunz, Wolfenstein enemy territory, Quake but they have very few players.

new games are just bad nowadays…

Valorant has been fun apex is also good. Paladins is more moba then shooter so it can be a good replacement

There are no replacements

Luckily ow isn’t “going to crap”, it’s just stale.

Try playing it a little less, and instead maybe go for a walk, or go to the cinema and watch whatever film is showing next.

I’m waiting for the day this happens. Though I find it very unlikely we’ll see it any time soon. Companies are too scared to lose their money.

paladins isn’t some perfect game, but I got like 1000 hours in it.

Game honestly has 10x more depth than OW, but it’s knowledge requirement gate keeps itself.

The champion pack on sale is like 5-10$cad and worth it.

Champ x Deck x Talent combinations, take some time to learn, but champs get way funner once you realize each one has like 5 playstyles and how to unlock them.

Tanking is broken down into ‘Point tank’ and ‘off tank’. Point tank is heavily defensive and sit on point only using walls and shields TO CLEANSE CAUTERIZE so we can heal you up. Off tank lead a push separately into off angles.

99% of healing is timing heals for when caut falls off.

There is more but if you give it time it’s really good for a 15 person dev team.

*Dark ages of competitive gaming

Unless you’re into twitch shooters like Valorant/CS:GO, the competitive gaming scene is pretty dry right now. Casual games are on the rise and there’s nothing we can do about it.

Best games are mostly coming from Indie developers these days. Which is ironic considering they’re tighter on budget.
