Are there any actual relationships that are in official in overwatch?
There are a bunch of gay/straight ships everywhere but are any of them actually hinted at or official? Like maybe voice lines or lore-wise?
Tracer & Emily (comics) voice-lines in-game support this is that comics are canon
Only one I can think of that is official
Mercy and Gency is official-ish but that may change since the writer of that has left Blizzard I believe and was just hinted at.

None between the heroes themselves, but there are lots of nonplayer characters who our heroes have relationships with!
- Torbjorn has a wife and several children
- Ana had a husband named Sam
- Soldier: 76 has an ex-boyfriend
- Tracer has a girlfriend named Emily
- Widowmaker HAD a husband
- Gabriel raised a family at one point
…please let me know if I’ve forgotten anyone!
Apart from that, Genji/Mercy is teased so often, that there’s no way something isn’t going on there

Was it confirmed Gabriel raised a family? I know there is a panel in a comic of him lookng at a family when he is Reaper but that could of hinted it was a crush, his old family or him wishing he had one or missing one he had.
As for Soliders, wasn’t it he never told his friend he liked him? didn’t think the little writing section of that hinted he DID date him unless I am remembering wrong

Would be nice however I wouldn’t take what Michael Chu says as canon 100%, he may have been a writer but remember the higher ups still have to approve of said writing.

All confirmed relationships are between heroes and outside characters. No two playable characters are in a relationship.
Gency however continues to be hinted at. Its clear theres some favoritism towards it.
In the short story where it was revealed that Soldier was gay it was stated “Even Gabriel had a family”

Widowmaker (Amelie) and her husband Gerard.
Reaper (Gabriel) was confirmed to have had a family so he possibly has a wife (though who knows truly)
Ana and Sam.
So far, these are the only canon straight couples aside from Reaper, who is still in the air. He has a high chance of being straight though, but with the writing, it’s anyone’s game.

I know soldier had a boyfriend, vincent. they broke up after jack’s job became too demanding on the relationship.
i hope one day they meet again, or soldier accidentally calls a new hero “vince” then corrects himself because they look alike.
