Had a comp game with a very competent Wrecking Ball. Swooped in, slammed my team and almost gunned me down with headshots every time.

Well, similar to Doomfist, if Wrecking Ball needs headshots to deal damage then that could be a sign of being weak.
On the other hand, times change and WB can’t just be rolling around doing nothing. His team needs him to be properly aggressive. It’s not OW1 anymore.
I consider it more as a, “Easy to learn, difficult to master” type of game, and if that’s not for you, then hey, no big deal.

Moira takes a lot of skill. She doesn’t have CC, constant mobility or the ability to damage while ramming targets. She also don’t get a massive shield for her troubles.
Zarya and DVa are already getting nerfs. If you are comparing one tank to those tanks then of course its gonna look bad. They’ve been pointed out as overperforming by everyone.

Ask any pro player from any FPS game who has played Overwatch at a high level. They will tell you that Overwatch is, by far and away, the hardest FPS game. Most FPS games (like Valorant, for example) are slow and rely almost solely on crosshair positioning. Overwatch has many more elements to it, like teamwork, aerial movement, unique character movement, etc. It’s much harder.

being more accessible should technically bring more new players.

You simply have less carry potential and you need to do the objectives to win, not just “frag out” so that adds a layer of complexity other games dont have.
