OW crashing immediately after launch

Haven’t played since right after OW2 came out. Basically as soon as I press play game a window pops up saying “Overwatch application has stopped working. A problem has caused the program to stop working correctly.”

I have updated my drivers, uninstalled and reinstalled on both Bnet and Steam, verified integrity of game files, ran file repair tool, and turned off Windows Defender, and nothing has changed. Using a Nvidia 750 Ti, AMD FX 8120 8 Core Processor with 16GB DDR3 RAM

Hi, I’m a volunteer and do not work at Blizzard.

Just to verify, are you using Windows 10 or 11? Previously, the game supported Windows 7 but that support ended.

Beyond that, add a DxDiag for troubleshooting.

Click here to show/hide DxDiag report instructions
  1. Press Windows Key + R, then type DxDiag and press Enter.
  2. In the DxDiag window, click Save All Information.
  3. Name the file dxdiag and click Save.

After you have the report:

Please note that there is no guarantee what’s causing your issue will be apparent from a DxDiag and you may need to do more investigating on your own or speak with a PC technician.

I am on Windows 10.

Here’s the link as per your instructions. Definitely some OW stuff at the bottom but I am not nearly tech savvy enough as to say whether it’s useful or not. Hopefully you or someone else can tell. Thanks!

Also, you really want to replace or clean drive C. You need 15% free space for the drive to work properly.
