Welp, there it goes, just for 3 weeks, and they already said its NOT going to be a permanent mode in the future. Might as well not even implement it in the first place.

Easy way to say its not gonna be permanent.
Each Overwatch: Classic event will feature heroes and balance from popular moments in the game’s history, ranging from the fast paced and frantic gameplay of the 2017 Moth Meta to the triple-tank, triple-support style of “Goats.” In the first Overwatch: Classic event, we’re taking it all the way back to the original 1.0 release from May 2016, which includes many abilities that haven’t been seen for years and all the chaotic gameplay from that era.
Sounds like they’ll do different Overwatch Classic events for different eras of Overwatch.

It not even has Ana and “no limits” its the general mode. No, they dont want it. Especially now that the people now the tricks what to do.

Really makes me think how long I’ve played this game as well, unreal how it’s flown past
more manipulation in the form of malicious compliance. They’re gonna shut up all the people begging for old overwatch by giving us old overwatch but making it miserable to play.

Yeeeeah, they tried doing the same with WoW Classic and we all know how that worked out for them…
“You think you do, but you don’t”.
Many years later and WoW Classic is almost as populated as the live game with new Classic versions of previous expansions being released and more to come.

No they didn’t. They just said it depends on community response. That means it could be a perma mode if people love it. Unfortunately I think they ruined it with no limits. When people think of classic overwatch I think most people want a season 2 overwatch not a season 1.
