for not to mention the entire ranked ladder is so garbage… They really need to redo the system!

They proclaim it to be a 6v6 competitive experience… then they give us 1 new mode… what a joke!

Why is it so hard for people to just be grateful for once? lol

This is true and the part stopping me from being able to go full hype mode.

Though, perhaps there some small hope that balance is so bad and not being fixed yet because of all the change that OW2 brings.

man… they can have a very very good game… if they only put more effort and time to balance the game…

It’s not that this person is ungrateful I bet this person is super grateful just worried about the state of OW since OW2 will get a lot of attention now.

But still smile and be happy this is huge!

tbh, all I personally want is a fixed Overwatch 1. I don’t need any new heroes, I just want to be able to move my character again, have proper matchmaking, a proper ranked mode, the option to avoid terrible maps like paris… and then I’d be happy already with the game. It’s always gonna be a casual game in the end, I came to accept that eventually, but they should atleast make it playable and, ya know, fun again. =P

As of now, I see no need to get hyped about OW2. New maps, new heroes and a new gamemode are cool, but when the core gameplay is in such a terrible state like it is now, it won’t be worth buying for me.

Grateful? GRATEFUL?! Are you kidding me? We are not Blizzards children, we don’t owe them anything, we are their CUSTOMERS. We pay money for a PRODUCT. And if they don’t deliver, we criticise them or stop buying their products. There is no need to be grateful. In fact Blizzard should be grateful for this community, escpecially with all the BS they have done over the years and recently - other games would have been dead a long time ago.

They did say that. Supposedly they are focusing solely on balancing the hero’s as of last year. This is them focusing. They still suck. Lol

That’s a harsh way to put it blizzard doesn’t have to give all the stuff they do and yet we still get updates from them same goes for events this community is plenty ungrateful at times but still be happy blizzcon is here! :yum:

So long as someone thinks one particular character is difficult to deal with or not strong enough because they’re either not as capable as others or never change their strategy or preference or simply thinks certain characters should or shouldn’t be as viable as another, it never will be. So, I will just keep playing for fun.

well with OW2 the multiple hero releases will shake things up.
They might but most likely not introduce the talents into the PVP allowing you to really shake exceptions with every round/match.

I don’t think it’s harsh, it’s pretty tame I think actually. Remember that all they manage to accomplish is make the game become gradually worse, while recycling the same old events for 3 years and not giving out anything else - and not even communicating about why things are taking so long for most of the time.

In my opinion, every bit of scepticism is justified. This game was launched in an really early state, for 50 bucks, under the promise that they will gradually improve the game and add new stuff, just to give us lackluster updates, barely contents, push the OWL to make the big bucks and now probably charge us again for the DLC.

I’ve lost faith in Blizzard a long time ago, so I have my doubts about OW2.
If you get hyped about it, all good, I wish I could too - but after over 4 years of following this game, it’s impossible to have any kind of trust in this company anymore.
OW2 is the chance for a complete turnaround, I hope so because the game used to be awesome. And if not, well, there are plenty of other games to play. But blindly following video game publishers… Done that way too long. =P

I see where your coming from but please try and get a little hyped OW2 hasn’t been released yet so there’s still hope

The toxic entitled player problem?

I don’t find it to be toxic just doubt this person has a right to doubt but still OW2 is huge so being a little grateful would help
