Overwatch2 is one of the worst multiplayer games I've played

Hello everyone. I’ve been playing Overwatch almost since its release. I won’t write a huge piece of text and waste your time

This is the worst game I’ve ever played. Along with other multiplayer games from Blizzard. Today, of course, we’re talking about matchmaking. The problem is that the better you play, the better you try to win the game for your team, the more effort you put in, the harder and harder it is to play it. Moreover, it artificially complicates the game for you by throwing AFK players into the team; healers who will ignore the heal and will deal damage instead of healing; players who for some reason got into my team, but their game does not match the rating hidden by the MMR; people leaving the game, etc. According to statistics, I can do 2-3 times more kills, damage, tank shield for my team, bring a lot of healing to the team, constantly squeeze the maximum out of each situation, etc. But all this is ignored, because I get 1-3 players in my team who play worse, because the system has thrown in weaker players, who also wonder what they are doing here and it is difficult for them to play against the opponent’s team, which in 90% of cases has a matchmaking selection for some reason. But not for me. I have less than 40% win rate in all modes, and at the same time in almost every match I have the highest damage, the highest heal, etc. among the two teams

Sorry for posting this. I am fed up with all this time. The developers can’t make two buttons - one with a quick search, but with a bad matchmaking, and another for a slower and more accurate matchmaking. I spend half a day to win a couple of games, but lose ten games for this reason

No need to drown a players who are not trying to lose the game to the team, trying for the sake of other teammates, so that everyone gets pleasure in the end. The developers think that if I lose, then I deserve a weaker team, which is why I will continue to lose. That is, they consider it normal if I can lose 10 games in a row. The game forces you to be worse, to lose games to your teammates, so that it will start picking stronger players for your team, who will also suffer because of me with my installed bad game

Just be the horrible teammate that does not deserve their rank and life becomes so much easier.

Take it from someone who uninstalled OW2 a few months back. Your mental health will improve upon stepping away from the game, but more so than that? You’ll find just how many more better games are out there, with game developers that are active players within their community. And genuinely have love for their player base.

Just uninstall.

It’s what I’ve done for the next few weeks. I would have done it last year except they mistakenly made Sombra more fun when they attempted to rework her and hog into the trash. Having corrected their mistake of making her more fun, I have nothing else left to enjoy as they also reworked everything else I liked into the trash. Stack on top of that the terrible matchmaker, and I’m taking a break.

Your losing games and your blaming the game, your team and trying to use the scoreboard to vindicate yourself.

If you want to get better you’ll need to drop the scapegoating/copium mental.

I don’t want to spoil the game for others teammates. I have always been in favor of both teams getting maximum pleasure with equal play, so that everyone feels the spirit of competition and what every player means to the team and contributes to it.

To be honest, I have never seen a normal matchmaking system in any game. Almost all session competitive games are not worthy of their players and they are a cancer of the gaming industry due to their uselessness. Maybe I’m wrong about this statement. But we have what we have. I also played Heroes of the Storm from Blizzard. There’s absolutely the same problem

Everything is intentional. Games are intentionally rigged to force higher player retention and prolong the grind so you play more unless you create a new acc. Vets are used as a controlled factor to boost noobs up the ranks that they do not deserve to enhance noob experience and incentivise them to make shop purchases.

A cliched response from someone who justifies this system . You’ve been caught. I wish you the same thing I’ll get - more losses from this system that doesn’t care about the players

I use the scoreboard for this first and foremost, to understand how useful I am to my team and how far behind the opposing team I am. If I’m behind, I try to put in more effort

If I see that someone on my team is not changing a hero that is bad against the opposing team, I can advise to change a hero, since this system provides such an opportunity, you need to use it. If my teammate does nothing, doesn’t heal me, if I am nearby and click on the signal about needing help/healing and after he is ignoring me in match, then of course I will just click “Avoid player”, since I dont want to be caught with him again in the team and avoid situation, where he’ll lose game to me and my new team again

Tank diffs are real, get spawn camped.

I thought about it too. Most of the players are low-ranked players. They enter the game after school/work tired and just want to shoot in the game. They have no goal to win, just to play. And the developers don’t care about the minority of players, they are for this majority of players

That’s why, fortunately, I have loved single-player games all my life and play different games of different genres to this day. And this is the best thing in the gaming industry

It’s a cliché for a reason because it’s a common problem with overwatch and it’s systems enable people to lean into the basic human nature of deflecting responsibility.

Now I’ll lay the facts out for you… The first post you make is just about blaming everyone and everything, not asking for a vod review, advice or even posting a replay code. Why? Because you just want to vent and feel better about losing games.

Here’s another cliché… Check yourself before you wreck yourself… You didn’t check yourself.

Btw… Need more proof noone…

While thinking

If it was the worst game ever you wouldn’t be playing it. This to me is proof that your just illogically saying things.

QP used to be for fun, but in 5v5 it is Comp Lite. Blizzard made it this way.

It’s extremely unbalanced especially when it comes to teams

If you win too much Blizzard punishes you by putting you in a horrible team with inexperience players

The better you do the more disadvantages you get. This is why I stopped playing competition

Also, the haxxing problem is enormous. I don’t think it’s a bad game I do think Blizzard is a bad company that doesn’t care about quality

The tank diffs are rough. The matching has an easy point of failure to rely on when making the matches.

A lot of people who love specific games, including me, love Overwatch, except for matchmaking, continue to do so until they decide to quit. And I did it, I left games like Dota, HON, CSGO, HOTS. I blame the ststem with the words “because the system abandoned weaker players who also wonder what they are doing here, and it is difficult for them to do it. play against the enemy team.” You just missed it at this point because it is convenient for you. You apparently like to decide for everyone who they are, what they do, and they are all wrong in what they say. Didn’t you think that if I like competition, then I can check VODs after games? Especially when I play competitive games over 14 years old and And I got high ranks in games solely because I played with my friends. This is the only way to exclude teammates who play at a lower rank and play with your friends with whom you will achieve results. If the problem was in me, my friends wouldn’t play with me and I wouldn’t get the rank of Supreme in CSGO, Master in HOTS, etc.

This is the last message to you, because I see that you justify this system and write nonsense, an adequate person will not understand. I will not even try to convince you that you are wrong. Even though I wrote so much above

Overwatch wasn’t this bad before, I remember the forced 50% win rate and most importantly having 6v6. I’d say the past had better gameplay than what is going on now where the 1 tank makes or breaks your game. They demand both supports on them (both teams) and once one dies, it is an easy fight. It is less fun for the 10 players in the lobby and puts everything on the 2 tank players in the lobby.

This game is great for people who are willing to use multiple tools, work together, and examine their own mistakes to improve instead of blaming the system. There’s no better game for a good player.

So I agree this game isn’t right for you.

I couldn’t agree more.

OW is a hard game to be consistently good at.

Unfortunately, its easier to blame the game than get better at it.

Womp womp. So it goes.
