Who’s watching the Overwatch World Cup right now? Holy hell this is terrible. The casters have no idea what they’re talking about. There is no game audio. The servers have crashed, twice? this WC?
Please blizz, put some more budget into this if you’re trying to make it a ESPN sport worthy event. I understand this isn’t OWL where you make most of your money, but WC is a good way to attract audience too
Honestly, I am not going to bother watching until Blizzcon. For some reason, I can only tolerate OWL. I watched some of the BM clips as a fan of BM. But that is as far as I go.
The reason is, there’s some effort into making it a decent event.

E is taking an interview, and casters are on a hot mic, and they don’t even know about it. One is asking another, “what’s widow’s ultimate called?” It’s hilarious and sad at the same time.

I only like the OWL announcers. Goldenboy, That one girl, Monty, and that glasses guy. Everyone else just feels like a contenders caster, which everyone knows contenders is the Chinese-knockoff of OWL.

The amusing thing is that throughout all of OWL I cannot think of many instances at all where there were any technical issues and that ran for months.

Yhea casters are pretty bad. Their mics sound like cheap ones with push to talk. Watched about 10 minutes today and instead of talking about how Sombra’s EMP got cancelled by the enemy Sombra’s hack they try to come up with weird names for Doomfist’s abilities.

It’s infra-sight, wall hacks is allowed, and if you’re casting a game you need to know.
