Calling it now, this is going to be extremely limited and underwhelming. Don’t raise your expectations too high, with Blizzard’s track record you’re bound to be disappointed.

We’ll definitely have to see it first, but i think floor is literally lava mode sounds promising. If we can do that, im sure we can do a lot

It’s on the ptr for less than an hour and most people without seeing it already hate it… Like whatever Blizz does, there will be people that are always unhappy… What an amazing community.

I’m a console gamer so I’ll have to wait to even see if we’ll (console gamers) get it. That’s why I’m keeping my expectations low. Can’t be disappointed if you’re not expecting anything.

I used to follow that philosophy but i found that being cynical all the time hollowed my enjoyment of things. Just my two cents.
Can’t wait for the console lords to get workshop too.

Yup. Me, i like being optimistic for the fun of it sometimes. Workshop news had me dancing and jumping. Today’s been a great day.
A small part of me is hoping the workshop lives up to expectations, cause, I mean, I need something to do in this blasted game.
What would you use the workshop for?
I’m mostly excited for how this is gonna change custom games. Im hoping the community does really cool stuff.
I said I wouldnt let this game hype me anymore for things that Will come in the future… I’m weak! I’m hyped AF

No custom maps? More crappy arcade meme modes? No thanks, I’ll pass. God I just hope it’s good.
Not sure yet. I don’t want to say anything for certain until I see what the feature let’s me do with my own eyes.

I only watch enough for him to explain what it is. I can’t stand Jeff’s voice. Nothing wrong with the guy, just don’t like his voice.

IMO, it would be better if matches played in Workshop Games counted towards Arcade Lootboxes. At least then they’d see play.

It will be interesting to see how much use the community gets out of it. They make it sound more intuitive for people who already have an interest in programming, or at least existing knowledge of the practice

all i heard Jeff say was “you guys do our balancing for us”
That’s what it’s gonna be used for. Then blizz will take the best and most proven balance changes by insert community clan/team here and chuck it in comp/QP
And…basically handing over development to the community in the form of modding etc. I called it a while ago they were phasing down content/support. Enabling community Modding is always, 100% guuaranteed sign of a developer moving on to the next project
