Today season 10 of Overwatch 2 came out and upon updating and running the game I got suspended and had to kill it because of a graphics issue. I suspect that the issue is not actually with the graphics card due to a number of reasons. I started by restarting my computer and shutting it down and when that did not work I began to repair the files. I scanned and repaired files, no issue there, uninstalled and reinstalled the game, no issue there, checked three places to see if I had a driver update, I did not, and uninstalled and reinstalled my card. After that, I punched in my error code online and read through several forums suggesting that the issue was with the CPU and not actually with the graphics card. I use a RX 5500 XT which is compatible and even some of the newer ones people had used were not responding. A theoretical suggestion on one of the forums was to tone down the CPU if it had above 8 cores which mine does and I have not done that as it would not really be a solution to constantly boot into BIOS specifically for Overwatch. I run this game on lower settings and 60 FPS on my computer as is and cannot play it. Please let me know as soon as possible since I thoroughly enjoy this game and want to get back to it as soon as possible. Thank You.
