Overwatch. I donāt play any of the others anymore because theyāre boring to me, but I still play Overwatch

APEX boring, modern warfare is like could you seriously have a more boring name? paladins? paladin is the most boring class in WoW and that is a fact. overwatch wins no diff

Paladins if it didnāt have so many bugs.
OW if wasnāt so poorly managed.
Modern Warfare keeps going 5% GPU usage and <10FPS no matter what I do but I can play HQ games like Forza and GTA highest settings and still get 80+FPS (for some reason when i run it in windowed it jumps up to 60+FPS but as soon as I click the menu/game window it jumps back down to low GPU usage and FPS. But when it used to work I really liked sniping in it (why am I so good at sniping here but trash in Overwatch)
Battle royale is boring to me so no Apex.
Paladins graphics look bad to me and they just add characters for the sake of adding them without caring about the story so very few are part of a single story and most of it is super hard to follow. Overall looks like a PS2 game especially when you look at the maps which there are barely any of. Barely any modes as well.
Overwatch runs very well for me, has nice Pixar like art style and very good looking graphics on Epic when you look at maps etc. I like that Overwatch also has a good enough story to make a series of movies or episodes as well. Lots of modes, custom game modes where people even create PvE and Overwatch 2 incoming.
So Overwatch and Modern Warfare.
Apex is great, but itās still a BR, which is boring to me now. It also has no solos, and playing BRs with randoms is a miserable experience.
Paladins is quite solid, but it doesnāt seem very well optimised and itās usually impossible to play going solo.
Modern Warfare is simply the worst Call of Duty to date, tied with Vanguard. Horrid map design and spawns, pointless features like doors, mounting and tac sprint, Killstreaks (who even prefers this to Scorestreaks or even Pointstreaks???), etc.
So, Overwatch, I suppose
Apex and Overwatch are the best. Both COD and Paladins are boring and irrelevant. Apex and Overwatch (despite OW being kinda dead) are very fun games with tons of lore and story.

OW is the best when content is being pushed but not now.
Apex has by far the best movement (Arena like) and its simple enough, with updates. Servers are trash and its a BR so after 1-2h it gets repetitive.
Out of these, apart from Overwatch, I only really played Apex.
I used to be really good at the game actually, I have had some 4k damage and 20 kills games, reached Diamond in SoloQ but didnāt wanna continue to Masters because I was lazy.
However, I just hate Respawn and their developper team. Itās horrible. They blatantly lie to the players, falsely advertise their overpriced cosmetics, I mean really, on their official website, in their official FAQ, they used to say āCosmetics marked as exclusive are a one-time offer and will not come back in the shop in the futureā. What did they do ?
They brought back said āexclusiveā skins, and when I went to check their official FAQ, they got rid of that part mentionning these.
I do not want to have anything to do with a company that constantly lies to their players to make as much money off of their backs.
ābuT thEYāRe juSt skINs!!1!ā is the most stupid argument Iāve heard when I tried pointing this out. Yes, they may just be skins and do not change the way of playing the game. But these skins represent their #1 way of income, so they lie about it to make more money. And god knows what they even do with this money ! Iāve played this game since the very first week of release, and there were still issues that had NEVER been fixed when I stopped playing. All of that made me just quit. Why even bother with a game that has absolutely no love from the devs anymore ?
At least the Blizzard devs are actually working on Overwatch 2 and relevant balance patches, unlike these developpers over at Respawn who reinvest all of their money they gained thanks to their lies into making more overpriced skins to earn more money.
Anyways, thatās about it for Apex. Iāve played a bit of Paladins, and I donāt like the feel of it. I didnāt play it much though. And as for Modern Warfare, I personally was never a big fan of the CoD franchise.
So Overwatch wins it for me.
This is all mostly false equivalency as only two of these games are from the same genre.
Overwatch and Paladins are cooperative hero shooters, while Apex is a BR and MW has a variety of gameplay options, none of them being hero shooters.
Yes Apex has heroes and is a shooter, but Apexās heroes can pick up different weapons, armor, utility, etc. Which is incredibly different than Paladins or OW where all kits are wholly unchangeable for all heroes.
So really itās just a comparison of Paladins and OW, and I have never really been able to get into a Paladins. It really just feels like budget OW with a bunch of paywalled content.
But to say āversusā when comparing these games is incredibly difficult as they all fit into different niches.
You might as well throw Destiny, Borderlands, and Halo in there while youāre at it, because the only thing these games all have in common is they are FPSes.
paladins is pretty niche and i wouldnt even put it in the discussion. its ok to compare hero shooters with other games though, i play more than just one genre or mode and i do pick between them on a given day
Ive been playing fortniteās no build mode lately. I still like how they have a true solo mode and wish they would add that to apex
Not to mention how they continue to sell Titanfall 2 despite it literally being unplayable right now because of a single hacker DDOSing all the serversā¦he has a serious grudge against the Titanfall community.
Respawn knows this is happening and still sells it for no reason. And the worst part: only one line of code needs to be changed to fix it.

I donāt particularly like the gameplay of any of them, but the art, animation and programming of Overwatch is by far superior to those other 3.
i liked apex when i played it during launch. was a fun battle royale and kind of took my mind off PUBG. still i was getting tired of BRās in general so there was one game that wasnt a battle royale that i still love - overwatch
paladins is cool and i play it from time to time. way more heroes but you probably have to unlock them through $$$ or its a long grind. i only have 4 unlocked atm and im not paying $$$. they have no replay system which kinda stinks and i would like that game more if it did
anyways this is an overwatch forum so yea everyone mostly will say overwatch i think
woops forgot about call of duty. i use to like black ops 2 back in the day and played it a WHOLE lot on the old xbox. never was a CoD guy much tho and although i liked warzone its just another BR to me
