Vent about overwatch here. It can be about heroes, abilities, ults, maps, basically anything that has to do with Overwatch.

I’ll go first:

For the love of god teammate Orisa, please stop casually throwing supercharger right in the front line. That 50% damage increase is massive, so please, stop putting it in the front line where it gets shredded in 2 seconds.

Put it around a corner or even put it against the wall and use barrier as a dome around it.

Just not in the front line.

Even worse is when they have barrier on cooldown and they just slap it down in the middle of a team fight.

Everytime I see an Orisa do that I instantly look at the kill feed and what do ya know, there it is in the first few seconds it was put down. Always makes me sigh in disappointment.

Alright venting over for me. Let’s see what you guys have to say.

I’m noticing a pretty strong correlation between vent threads and how close it is to the end of the season :thinking:

Having a Moira on your team isn’t the reason you lost 10 times in a row :sunglasses:

Also stop blaming the heals every time you overextend and die

And stop charging in to 1v6 whenever your shield breaks lol

Oh and if you need healing… stop running away towards the enemy team… there isn’t an Ana on the team and we can’t he- you’re dead now and it’s not our fault.

Sounds like you’ve had some not-so-great experiences with Rein players.

Here are my vent points

  • People need to stop trying to chase perfect balance and just focus on making the game fun.

  • There’d be more higher Sr tank players if they weren’t so stubborn to switch

  • People need to stop mindlessly throwing around the term powercreep

  • Balancing the game around low ranks or owl is the worst possible thing you can do and gate keeps so many heroes from being viable

  • The game would be more healthier and diverse if people stopped the “I don’t like this hero” mentality

  • Individual skill only matters until you hit 2700 sr

  • THERE IS TOO MUCH DAMN CC IN THIS Game. McCree’s my 2nd main and I’ll gladly lose Flashbang if it means cc globally getting removed.

  • The divide in the community and ppl always coming at each others throats saddens me.
  • The state the game is in currently is also really depressing.
  • No one really seems happy at all with how things are and rightfully so and the game just doesnt feel like it once was.
  • I miss Jeff.
  • The game seems like its slowly just becoming worse and worse especially with crossplay, not bc I’m playing with other people but because of the ppl who now have to pay using VPN to get the quality games they once had, or ppl who are struggling to enjoy it now bc of language barriers and other regional lock issues…for a company that prides itself by considering ALL, it really seems like they just wanted money out of all of this
  • the integrity of this game has been completely lost and it shows
  • they are no longer considering the variety but doing a “one size fits all” solution by the way crossplay is right now

I feel this one actually.

Balancing around low ranks means characters like Torb, Sym, and Bastion get nerfed 6 feet under while Junkrat gets insane buffs and actually becomes braindead and OP.

Balancing around OWL and GM/t500 means dive makes an insane and broken return. Tracer and Genji would get broken buffs like 3 second shorter cooldowns or a damage increase.

As an Orisa main who gets frustrated watching other Orisa players deploy Supercharger in such risky positions, I get this lol.

  • Moira please PLEASE stop DPSing the backline!
  • Stop picking Junkrat against Pharahs unless you’re a Junkrat god!
  • Reddit Lucio please stay with your team if you’re not near your team we don’t get healed / speed
  • Noob wrecking ball players feeding like crazy and spamming for heals!
  • Same for noob Hog AND Echo players!!
  • Please don’t spam “I need healing” like crazy, I’ll heal you just STOP THE SPAM
  • I HATE DIPSTICK SPAMMERS
  • WHY IS NOBODY TRYING TO FLANK THE BASTION
  • Why do you waste your EMP as Sombra on a single target?
  • Why don’t you stay close to your team / help your Reinhardt?!
  • Why is our Zen healing a full HP ally when there’s 3 people dying next to him?
  • WHERE ARE MY NEW TANK AND SUPPORT HEROES
  • WHY AM I ALIVE

I just did a qp match on HLC, and swapped to McCree to counter the enemy reaper, at one point I flashed and fanned him, and he STILL killed me.

Sometimes I wish swapping wasn’t what the game is about.

People choosing the left side when attacking on Anubis and not choosing the high ground gets annoying.
