Overwatch, to me, is the best game ever made

Even this game keeps me from playing Cyberpunk 2077 (which honestly on my PC isn’t that bad - and I’m enjoying it). But nothing quite piques my interest like the excitement surrounding Overwatch 2 and just this game in general.

Since I am almost 33 years old I have dropped off gaming quite a bit, but I always seem to find time for OW. After Cyberpunk, OW2 could be my last gaming purchase ever, but I am looking forward to it so much!

Day 1 player of OW here, and my account is Gold border 5 stars… honestly it could be much higher but this is just about the only game I play these days.

I have a lot of games in my library. And I think Overwatch is my favorite. But I’ll caveat it this way. It’s my favorite multiplayer game. Overwatch is also an exception for me. I tend to prefer single player games, especially ones with good stories. But I just love Overwatch.

I wouldn’t say best ever, but definitely a fantastic multiplayer game.

I hesitate to give anything the “best” label, but if nothing less, Overwatch is expected Blizzard quality and fills a niche and craving no other game currently can.

If Apex hadn’t been a BR though…

Can’t say it’s the best game. Cause it still has its flaws. But imo, it’s the best Fps game.

Overwatch is the only game that I’m actively glad to watch fail due to it being so poorly handled and balanced into the ground. My other favorites in the past I was happy to support, but Overwatch takes the cake for the most frustrating, mind numbingly maddening experience and shortsighted management I’ve ever seen from a games company.

Honestly I’m less mad at the Sims franchise costing $400 with all those stupid game packs than I am at Overwatch for being a game with such a great framework that is being absolutely WASTED in a matchmaker / game system that we can’t get reliably good games out of.

What is the point of a game that you can’t play? You might as well be praising a beautiful muscle car with a shiny new coat of paint that has blocks for wheels.

Its unqiue there is nothing like this and addicting, first time a shooter moba having such diverse fun heros. I always dislike pointy clicky feel of most mobas.

imagine seeing a armoured hammer guy moving his entire team through a choke, a robo ninja team wiping with instantaneous twitch movements of the camera, or any of the unique characters like roadhog/ ball/ lucio.

you wouldnt get that experience in any other esport.

the characters are well conceived and developed, they not only have backstories but unique personalities.
you have multiple nationalities and designs.

the fps elements are solid as well as some of the moba like elements.
the skill cap is incredibly high.
and the online connection is quite solid.

Blizzard games is a drug.

Nothing new.

wish i could still feel the same enthusiasm for the game as you do, hopefully one day

For me the lack of new stuff like a hero or some crazy game mode even the events makes me enjoy thr game less. Not because i hate the game because it has so little to do now im just gonna occasionally play it until OW2

Yes, and the only way to quit is to change your password to something you won’t remember, print out that password, throw it in the nastyiest spot in the garage (without looking), then log out of everything, uninstall if you have it installed…ect…
But the game forums are damn hard to get away from…

I actually love the game might I say, but taking a break without going through the process stated above is too hard.

Same, i’ve been playing this game since the first uprising event and loved it.

It’s just… i can see the difference between content since 2017 to now

Overwatch always finds a way to bring me back to the game no matter how annoyed it get with it.
