Checked, no drops for me. Not surprised. It wasn’t working in firefox despite all previous streams “working”, had to switch to chrome.
Just checking in to say that the drops actually work for me this time around! Needless to say, I’m glad.

Yup. I muted it, dimmed the screen fully and didn’t put the stream on fullscreen but just kept the whole page open with it running.
Guess I’ll give this a go tomorrow then. The stream will start extremely early for me so I’ll just turn the stream on my phone and go back to sleep
So… when I was watching the SA broadcast I noticed that the video player on my computer wasn’t exactly live. It was with red dot that shows its live but with an evident delay. I used to “video speed” function to stop the delay of the video (I speed it up then I put it in normal speed again) because the timebar wasn’t working. I must have watched +2 hrs of the Korean broadcast and +5 hrs the South American broadcast. I might not have the 7 hours yet but I want to know if speeding the video makes something wrong and if that’s why I didn’t receive the Symmetra skin yet ;-;.
Used chrome, watched both streams at the same time.
No rewards. Is it because i live in estonia ?
don’t speed it , make sure the dot is red and it says Live, for the whole period of the stream , make sure its not delayed , and if it gets delayed , don’t use the speed function , just skip ahead a little and it should go back Live .
Hi! Were you using the desktop or mobile version of Chrome? I mean, mobile is default and “desktop” only when you change it on the settings.
The schedule really doesn’t offer much for those who would usually tune in to OWL APAC matches [0:00-7:00 PDT].
I just leave it on the mobile version.

i dont know if its because the live hasnt started but the video is just black with a loading circle in the middle… ive refreshed multiple times and it hasnt played yet… guess i should just wait

I’m getting the same experience as CrankyKitten. I’m logged in, no ad blockers, no other tabs. I’ve tried in both Chrome and FireFox. The YouTube overlay works (Watch Later button saves to my YouTube account and the Share button gives a link), but the live video is all black with a loading spinner. I can watch the recorded clips using the side bar, and I can see the actual live video stream if I go directly to YouTube using the share link at Contenders Korea | S2 Playoffs | Grand Finals - YouTube
I watched the KR game on Oct 15 just fine. But I had this same blank video problem on Oct 20 with the SA game. Nothing has changed about my machine, browser, or internet since Oct 15.
This whole promotion is turning out to be far more frustrating than it’s worth–short windows to accrue the watching time to earn the skins, ridiculous late evening/early morning hours (it’s currently 3 am here), and unnecessarily complex having to watch on the OW Contenders site instead of streaming off Twitch like previous promos.
